Shadows
Gawking over the shoulder of a stranger
But can you see through their eyes?
As they roll back to gaze through the sickness of their mind
What line does reality define?
What do lies whisper to the seekers of the truth?
We cannot say we are not alone
Yet we stand here side by side
Chosen by destiny, chasers of dreams
Condemned to the shadows
By the men who froze the sun
Is our future merely an illusion
Or are we drowned by self doubt
