Bathing In Our Needs
I kiss the thoughts of memories
You were disturbingly calm
And you seemed
so indifferent...
This is to let you know
My love is still there
No matter what
I’ll always love you....
I’d give anything to make you
Feel the way you used to.
You caught me suddenly and I knew
I wish I could make you understand....
The feelings inside my mind about you
I’m so confused. I’m sorry if I hurt you.
I stay awake at night,
Trying to understand what happen...
I just wish that you could understand
What I'm going through.
Like a hallowed spot my dear
As I stare at the moon...
My soul wishes
Things would go back to normal
So we could talk like we used to.
You’re my only haven....
And now the mountain glows
As I dodge the clouds of awkwardness
And the tears of forgiveness
Doesn’t mean a thing....
When I don’t have my true love
Nothing can escape
For he lies beyond me
Just know the word is love....
And the melody of the stars
Used to sing our tune
Of heavens that might have been....
So bathing in our needs
That we might have been
In our veils of light....
Yes, you were a scared lover
That's what you were
Your look will be in my image
So maybe just maybe
Tonight this night might be the one of
All nights.....
Maybe one day my love, my heart and yours will be one, but just know the spirits of our hearts will be forever more…
Just maybe one day
My love,
We will be bathing in our spiritual needs!*
