It was like molten glass, his love
It poured through me
Filling every gap,
Every hole in my being that I couldn't fill myself
And as time went on,
The glass cooled
Hardening
Strengthening my bones
And my spirit
Fragile, yes
But she was careful
She knew his love was a gift
So she kept it safe
And in turn,
It made her strong,
Stronger than she ever was before
