Don't pick up only when the sun shines;
And don't fall with the pouring rain.

For every night you shall not lay down;
And for the day you should not wake.

Shall you cry, may it be of choice;
And smile no more than it pleases you.

The laws are not all set in stone;
Let sorrow bring you solace, and the departing road bring you home.
