We all stand up to our enemies
And fight for one another
So why is it then, that when the rain falls,
We all run for cover?
Are you scared of what it will reveal
Will the water leave a bitter taste?
Not afraid to die
But afraid of letting water fall on your face
Me, I welcome the rain
And let my self become undone
As the rain falls
The smell of the sky fills my lungs
So next time it rains and you don't know what to do,
Just remember
That maybe just maybe
The rain is more afraid of you
A short-lived life falling from a cloud
Only to succumb to nothing
As it reaches the ground
