I've always been a surprise to you
Pulling a rabbit out of a magician's hat

I've always been the 'villain' in your story
Why is that?

I'm sorry I scared you; I'm just a spider
So let me get out of your hair

I'm a glass of crimson red wine
I've stained your white-cushioned chair

I'm the one who has been blamed
For all your bright purple pain

I guess I'm no longer your daughter
I'm solely a stain
and I may have had my reasons, though you don't know them
