Jul 2020
You shone like Summer,
Ever tantalizing and bright.
The golden yellow of sunshine,
Is reminiscent of your sight.

Auburn leaves fell,
Our passion glowed dim.
The gentle cool breeze of Autumn,
Enveloped our love that grew slim.

Skin pricked,
Frost infused our souls.
Winter proved to be cruel,
It signified our downfall.

Frozen heart thawed by Spring,
Veins filled with hope.
Emptiness no longer embodied me,
My soul began to cope.
