Home was never safe, but I used to be able to pretend
School was safe, but I keep falling further behind
Work was safe, but everyone is leaving me
Church was safe, but politics and pretense destroyed it

So now
I find myself wounded
In need of shelter
To heal
To rest
To recover

But there's nowhere left
