I've wandered days and days for you,
To find the satin of your shoe,
And now I've left the fields and corn,
To float above and feel reborn

I've headed out to greener dreams,
And found more people here it seems,
That seem content to look at me,
As I row out daily to the sea,

They give me grass in chains like crowns,
As birds make luminescent sounds,
As children play and sing their rhymes,
Of memories of better times.
