My knees are sore
Because every night I kneel to the floor and fold my hands and say my prayer
I look up the air with tears of despair rolling down my chin
I imagine gods stare and ask how I dare
Be such a doctrinaire and have an impaired visionΒ Β
But in the end, it will be my decision
While I think about what the gods are plotting
Gods might just be watching
Maybe
