Vibrant features doth blind the human eye.
No gentle lady may compare to thee.
Thou overcom’st the charming night sky,
With a heart as calm as waves of the sea.

As thy golden hair glistens in the light,
And I look deep into thine bright blue eyes,
Goddess Aphrodite comes in my sight.
A beauty none may overemphasize.

Now thou hath become my one and only,
And to thee my dear heart belongs at will.
With thy departure shall I be lonely,
Bearing such pain to ingest the death pill.

As my fond love shall drive me to my end,
To the heavens above I meet a friend.
