Seafoam green
Pierced my amber
Like blood in the ocean
Sharks start to gather
My lungs are the boat
Your lies are the water
Mind paralyzed by a fear
This heart can’t weather
Hope kept us afloat
But your false reassurances
Are an anchor
I refuse to tote.
