Dripping ice hangs overhead
I look up and freezing water hits my head
This is why I so quickly jumped out of bed
To see the beautiful white spread

As I walk around careful not to cause destruction
To the beauty of nature's Winter construction
I smile at the Earth's induction
Of the white powder that comes to make an introduction.
