She came up to me and asked
I'll erase all those memories of her that hurt you.
She took my hands
And I remembered all my memories with her.
I said
No
I'll keep her in my heart
No matter how much it hurts, until I die.
She said
Why? Why would you keep her in your heart when it hurts?
I said
Because even if it hurts, I can love her.
More than not being able to love and remember my daughter. I'd rather love *and remember her. Even if it hurts.
