Nothing
I've been spiraling
All over the place.
And I don't know
If I'm going to make it out
In one piece.
That is if I make it out
At all.
Please don't believe me
When I tell you nothing is wrong.
Don't believe me
When I tell you I'm fine.
I'm trying to protect you
From myself,
But don't let me,
No,
Don't let me.
I'm not okay,
I'm sorry.
I'm scared and I can't do it
By myself.
Breathe life into me,
Because I'll be okay,
I promise you.
But I can't be okay
Right now.
I don't know how to tell you
I don't know how to just say
That I'm so far
Away from okay.
I wish you'd ask
How I am
And I wish you'd
Be a little more attentive,
For the sole reason
That I'm not holding up
As well as I've been.
