Darkness
Falls upon the landscape
Apprehension
Covets
The air

Fear trickle
Where paranoia pervades
And death
Resides in shadow

Whispers tense
With urgent missive
Take heed
And lend an ear
An eye tooth a chin my friend
Death is visiting near

The creatures stir not
For fear of attrition
His armies march on in
**** disease and pestilence
Will follow sorrows end

A land
Barren of life sits naked
Sifting through scarred remains

Of yesterdays
Sneerful of tomorrow
Where hope
Seems trifling and bane
