The wounds of the past are deep,
Causing anguish that haunts the mind.

Visions ignites tears of suffering,
Led by remembrance inflicting grief.

Fighting the harsh memories that scar,
Seeking goals that lead to inner peace.

Brawling with history to conquer misery,
Trying to secure a remarkable present.

The path through time will heal the pain,
Traveling across bridges to recovery.
