Jan 2016
don’t be thrown into society’s wildfire,
along with the scrubs of existence,
that are deemed unworthy.
don’t be holding onto the ash of the past,
the scent of burnt reluctance signifies an end.
run from the smoke,
into the blistering sun,
into the pouring rain.
leave the toxins behind,
because the fire rages on,
unaffected by your escape.
