Hey little brother
Our love for one another
Wasn’t born of blood
But built up
From the birth of
Your very first breath
Seen in polaroids
Of your precarious venture
Into this life
It was formed in time
Spent playing
And babysitting
In letting you win
At video games
Until the day
I could not beat you
It was in weightlifting
And *** smoking
Till you grew up
Without me knowing
Changed and changed some more
Angry and hurt
To religious and forgiving
So this a remembrance
Dear little brother
Who is a little bigger
Than me
Verses to remind you
That when you say I love you
I will always love you to
