If I could travel back in time...

If I could travel back in time

I'd travel back to yesterday.

To feel the pain I felt again -

A price I deserve to pay.

If I could travel back in time

I'd travel back two weeks,

To before you found out any of this,

To before my love-drunk speech.

If I could travel back in time

I'd travel back two months ago.

If I could erase the mistakes I made

I'd erase them for you now.

If I could travel back in time

I'd travel back a year,

Before we'd even become good friends,

So you'd never shed a tear.

If I could travel back in time

I'd travel back to '92,

And **** my new-born infant self,

And make the world a treat for you...
