No one knows this pain inside
I want it to be real.
I want him to ask me
But he won’t “too young”
They say it maybe it’s true
But I want this to last forever
I want to be with him
Til we grow old and grey
Surrounded by our kids and grandkids
On a sunny day.
But we both want to do things with our life
So I guess we’ll wait, but it’s going to slow
I want him to ask
But I know he won’t.
