Frost, climbing across
And the air, still, laden
Snows dimple ground,
As trees shiver, naked,
Wind massages, creeps
And sun, slow subdues,
Flew birds away swept,
Icicles dropping intrude,
This is an end beginning,
Cold over warms winning.
