Take me back to that spot;
where your eyes distantly grazed against mine like an unfamiliar thought crossing through your head,
trying not to be forgotten

Take me back to the flickering images of your hair;
as it bursts with sparks of fire every time it comes in contact with the streams of light,
reaching through the window

Let me relive five minutes of time with you;
let me admire your smile as you curiously gaze into my eyes
as if reading a short novel,
written only for you

Take me back to the shoreline where we lost time;
take me back to you
