Our hearts are just tissue
That pump blood through our veins
You see, the issue
Is when our hearts meet our brains
They often get misused
And both get poorly trainedΒ Β

Our hearts are easily turned into fools
And, meanwhile, our brains try to write all the rules
But it's no use, our hearts and our brains
Just crash and burn like moving trains

The Queen of Hearts sits on her throne
Destroying hearts all on her own
Sad, because she's so alone
Another soul, she's never known

She watches the world from far away
Destroying hearts all night and day
She burns them up and turns them grey
Leaving only ashes and decay

So now I understand why my heart won't beat
Why my mistakes play on repeat
Why my heart and my brain won't speak
Why I've gotten so **** weak
