The last night you still loved me, you said you wanted a muffin.
That was the one thing on your mind.
Even when our world was ending.

I dreamt last night that I was at the store, and I saw a pack of muffins that made me think of you.

So in my dream I bought them, hoping I'd wake up and be able to give you one.

I woke up alone, looking at the spot where you used to be and I started crying.

But when I got out of bed, there was a pack of muffins sitting on my table. The ones from my dream.

And somehow, this gave me hope and blessed my cheeks with a smile.
