Curiosity kills iniquitous kitty
She's a bad bad girl but oh so pretty
Sure-enough excited 'bout living in da city
All in a tizzy 'bout this nitty gritty ditty

She's Agog-a-go-go, now's she's got her own show
Won't be doin' any ordinary *****
Less you pay her prices, and that's alotta dough to throw
So don't get fixated on Agog-a-go-go

Wax those whiskers, if you really like her Mister
All the DJ's love her 'cause she's such a sister mixer
It's all good fun, till she comes up with a blister
Didn't hear it from me, but da liquor does whisper

She's Agog-a-go-go, soon to be a no-show
'Cause she's mighty hyped 'bout da fame ya know, ya know
Emotion motion industry can catch you with a logo
But the truth is honey it all ends up a big 'ole no-go

She meets a real cool cat, who shows her how to cope
But everybody knows, he's just sellin' her dope
Keeps her on a leash, for other men to *****
Miss Agog-a-go-go is soon to lose all hope

She's Agog-a-go-go, Agog-a-go-go

poems in the clouds
I was always stuck.
always in a rough patch but I was also
always inspired.
and no matter what, I just kept
writing and writing and writing
and trying to yell
to scream about how I felt
but all I was screaming at was
blank pages.
and blank pages listen better than most people
and I could've sworn I was absolutely
out of my mind,
but I don't think I cared anymore.

His way is strewn, with blood and tears,
Pressing onward, despite his fears,
Amidst a cry, of shouts and jeers,
Pleasures tempting, but he adheres,
He stays his soul, braves new frontiers,

A stranger man, was never known,
No plant nor stone, has heard him groan,
A heavy sentence, to bear alone,
His long full beard, has grayer grown,
As on the grass, his bed is thrown,

His life is plain, It has not thrill,
A man of strength, of soul and will,
None shall shake him, And none can ****,
Amid the night, when wind would chill,
A firm resolve, his goals fulfill,

And on until, a final day,
When he walks on, without dismay,
Stumbles upon, the sainted fray,
He drops his cloak, and makes his way,
Up to the gods, with grand hooray,

Dorothy Parker
A string of shiny days we had,
  A spotless sky, a yellow sun;
And neither you nor I was sad
When that was through and done.

But when, one day, a boy comes by
And pleads me with your happiest vow,
"There was a lad I knew--" I'll sigh,
"I do not know him now."

And when another girl shall pass
And speak a little name I said,
Then you will say, "There was a lass--
  I wonder is she dead."

And each of us will sigh, and start
  A-talking of a faded year,
And lay a hand above a heart,
  And dry a pretty tear.
