twelve strikes calls the river
to run on the peach silk beds
to pool on white cotton covers
one strike calls the gut-punching
the anger and the screaming
to burn the sins of the day before
two strikes calls the dark haze
slowly beckoned
by the tiring tirade against my soul
three cents to bet
that i might wake up the next day
Your soul is simply black as dark
If the world to you is white and black
there in your sad evil roaming eyes
when all you see is just you and I
Where were you when we changed
every dark sky to something blue
nothing you knew is the same
the rivers are crystal clear and new
the hills are now sweetly evergreen
Lord have mercy,  you miss so many
Loose yourself now and live so free
Learn to love and live in love daily
i love you
Thoughts never made it to my hands
Should have never taken the chance
Now I'm on a one way road
Can't stop to shed the load
And looking back, it all seems to shrink
Yet I'm stuck, somewhere in between..

Almost is my favourite place to be
Between a rock and a warm place
Won't let them all know me
It's called defensible space
Except for one, if only he could hold me..

But distance isn't measured
in meters with you
And time, well seconds and hours never suited you
your name's a spell I utter quite often
One more day, keep my doors open..

Have you ever looked at a person
And known that's who you'd love
And never hold back?
When I saw you I knew
Time was a useless construct...
And right now,
Almost is my favourite place to be..
Knowing she felt the same was more than enough. She was right there by my side as firm as a tree in the wind as we both fed our starving eyes with the wonders of God. There were moments when the wind blew so close and he was madly cold and constantly came with healing in its wings. In such moments I turned my gaze to her. Did she feel it too?

"Uncle, are you afraid?", asked Favor

"Yes I am" I said as gently as I could.

"Will the wind carry us?"

"Never!" I said to her but this time holding her feeble hand which by then was already in mine.

"Honey the wind is never forever. It will only come when nature needs it to. Its uncertain as the future. Nobody can say where next it will blow. But let's hope it blows cold when life gets hot"
Would have asked for a moment
another chance to sit next to you
I would say I know I was greedy
the high seat looked so golden
and my lust for glory massive
but I thought you would love me
as you loved your first choice
i blame the lurking shadows
I loved you more than you knew
now all i see are your stars at night
for am accustomed to the darkness
and the burning lake you promised me
To live I roam this long deserted land
and yes millions run to me for help
I make them bring souls with them
For the lake is overly  wide and hot
Still I wish there was an easy way
to right all the wrongs I have done
so I can stay next to you once again
