You think I was acting depressed?
You think I was looking for attention?
Who the **** do you think you are to make such assumptions?
You say you know if a person is depressed or not.
Who the hell are you,
a shrink?
Well, I don't ******* think so.
***** you and your ******* assumptions because I'm done.
You don't exist to me anymore.
So ****** with this *****. So done with her ****. This was the last ******* straw.

I'm trying forget you.
It's not as easy as it seems.
Your face,
embedded in my mind.
The memories we share.
I don't know what went wrong.
I don't know anything.
I do know one thing.
If you ever apologise,
I'll run back into your arms like the fool I am.
I'll run back only to get hurt again.
I'll run back.

Depression is like a bottomless hole
Depression is wanting to go home when you're already there
Depression is being alone surrounded by friends
Depression is laughing the loudest while being the saddest

Depression is a bottomless hole
That ***** all life and happiness from your body
Depression is a bottomless hole in your soul
Depression is an invisible force that pulls you deep down into the hole

When you're at the edge of the hole
Looking down into it
The force grabs you by your feet and pulls you down
And the more you go down
More strength you need to climb up
And less will you have to do so

Depression is a bottomless hole in your soul
That ***** all life and happiness from your body
Don't let it pull you down completely
Do not reach the bottom

patient waiting, time to
allow an ease from cacophonic
pupil dilation into a more
constrict perception of the
world around. rain falls
gentle, facilitating the
transfer, as low-fi ambiance
jams on. some thunder in
distance, paling in comparison
to the vocal sparks in the night.
flittering and wisp-like, urging
ever forward. urging:
'Come out of this a mess,
                  or not at all.'
manifestations, much as Red-Eye,
enticing to come up and dance with
death. to keep the measure through
turn for turn and twist for twist.
know the hooded Death missed
time again, giving the
'. . or not at all'
                         another chance
to strike true. another chance to
set the eyes out in feast, when
morality shall be felled and the
vocal sparks sublimate to ever
only being rare thunder in the
distance. with flash of luminescence,
storm never given chance to weather.

my mind is an ocean
and i am lost at sea
my boat doesn't float
and there is no mayday signal to send
they say the captain goes down with the ship
and if my body goes down
my soul will leave it be
sleep in the middle of the ocean
with the rest of the treasures
lost at sea

Yes
they sang of the stories told
of ages past and of men so bold
They sang for those who could not read
For the blind who could not see
The peasants tilled the land, and food produced
but for reading and learning had no use
And so it was left unto the singing bard
to tell of history from our past
I reposted this because I read a profile saying "I'm a poet not a story teller" What then is poetry?

Before you,
Rages the fire,
That engulfs,
All that we were.

And you regret,
Allowing that,
Single match,
To destroy me.

I am forgiving,
But I see it,
As my biggest,
Downfall.

For we can seal
The open wounds,
But never erase
The burn scars.

You're one track mind, and one track heart
You've been on this ride your whole life
It can't be stopped now that its embarked
You think when you arrive
You'll find yourself in front of pearly gates
Because you can still get into heaven
Despite the fact you've lived your life in hate
It was your one obsession
And part of me does feel bad for you
That you can't think all on your own
A thousand year old book tells you what to do
Those church pews are your home
And nothing with you will ever change
But I want to know other stories
I'm jumping out of this train
Ready to make some new memories
I don't know what will happen next
And I know you don't either
Life is just too **** complex
But I'm not wasting it on a savior
That I don't know exists
This life is all I know
This world too beautiful to resist
I need to learn, I want to grow
I want to see what I can find
And set myself apart
I refuse to live with a narrow mind
Or with a one track heart
I'm not trying to bash Christianity or any religion for that matter, only religious people who don't live or think critically because of their beliefs and would have peoples rights taken away because they think differently.
