If you look back can you remember
Can you remember what it was like
When you looked out over the ocean
And it looked like more than a compilation of questions
Can you remember when we could see past the horizon
And the air in our lungs tasted fresh
Can you remember when promises were like death sentences
When secrets were ties stronger than blood
If this is growing up I’ll keep holding my breath
Can you remember when guardian angels
Were nothing more than a nightlight
And the sound of the tv downstairs
Can you remember when it started to rain
But we didn’t associate it with dreams covering 654 miles
It was the key to the closet where we hid happiness
Can you remember what its like to measure time in minutes
And not in paychecks or homework assignments
Can you remember the exact moment when we lost ourselves
Living our lives to satisfy people we’ll never meet

I think you're beautiful
Your curvy body
The body I want to touch so gently
You hate your curves
The curves I love so much

I love your face
Even with all the blemishes
Your face is so beautiful
But you hate your face because of the blemishes

I love your **** and hips
Because they're a part of you
You hate them, but I don't know why
Sometimes I wish I could hug and kiss you so much that you wouldn't hate yourself anymore

Where you hate yourself I love
Where you love yourself I love even more

I see your beauty
Why can't you?

I guess I am the beholder of your beauty

You are the beauty in my eye of the beholder
This is about a girl I have a crush on. Her name is Mackenzie. Haven't seen her in about two months. Whenever I think of her I think about how beautiful she is and how she doesn't believe it. She hates her body, but I love her body. Sometimes I feel like holding her till she does believe it when I think of her. I want to be her friend if I can't be more than that with her. She doesn't know how beautiful she is.
God she's so beautiful it almost hurts to think about her sometimes.
We love a good introspection.
A lot of thinking-outside-the-box
a dash of sponaneity with a pinch
of romance.
A lot of pondering, wandering
wondering and pandering.
We crave intimacy and to woo we say,

"Look at my poetry."

Our minds are wired differently.
We tend to see things not as they are
but what they can be.
We are silently affectionate but rarely
spout off our poems in public.
We love deeply, fall hard and
live out our lives according to our
composition books.
I'm living in anger, I'm living in pain,
but the evil that befalls me, will have no gain.
it is cynical, and it's words always bear shame.
Oh evil, oh evil, how you blacken my days.

it roars with fire, but looks like an angel.
it's evil deeds, are linked together like a pretzel.
it's hiding it's black side, but showing off jewels.
oh evil, oh evil, you better change your ways.

Every word is a curse, and hurts like a knife.
every sight of its face, adds stress to your life.
every breathe that it takes, shrinks your pretty smile.
Oh evil, oh evil, how you hardly die.

A life with evil, is a dark cross to carry.
its pain and struggles, turn tears into blood.
but one day alone, and one day surely,
oh evil, oh evil, you shall reveal your lies.
nothing is hidden under the sun

When we speak and you ask how I'm doing
I always say "I'm fine"?
How painful it is to say that to the person
behind why you're broken inside
No matter how much time has passed in
between and how hard we tried
there are some memories we can never forget,
We just learn to live without them
I'll never understand why I constantly
let you win
or pretend that what you did
to me was okay because it's not
The worst part of this is no matter what
you do, you'll always mean so much to me
If only you could let go of what
left you broken and bruised
This isn't my best at all, I just had to let this out and I had no other way how.

they call you the great Lion.
but in my world you have another name.
you're not safe, but you're good.
you're the King.
you come and go.
one day i see you, one day i don't.
you're not a tame lion.
at the sound of your roar,
sorrows will be no more.
when you bare your teeth,
winter meets its death.
when you shake your mane,
we shall have spring again.

I see so much sadness
I know I'm not alone
So,So much pain
Rivers of it flow

I understand the reasons
Wish to help them all
How would that be possible
When I still trip and fall

Hope keeps showing itself
Only glimpses at a time
There's one who keeps me moving
She moves me all the time

Someday seems so distant
Like a mountain looming far
But someday keeps me going
Though sometimes it gets hard.
