This is just another night
Lonely streets and flashing neon
Shadows moving, no eye contact
Brick facades push away steam

Walking softly on dampened sidewalks
Head hung low wondering
Why this feeling continues, this crawl
Lost within the halls of my heart

Broken lines with no exit
Foreclosed affection in headlines
Written on the palm of my hand
Smearing in tear drops wiped

Yesterday was like a dream
You were mine, smiling, laughing
Sharing a day at the park on a painted bench
Watching silent paddle boats sleep

A March sun glistened on still waters
And birds sung softly overhead
When something was off, out of place… pieces
Our silhouettes slowly faded to one

Watching my sneakers form ruts
Swinging nervously back to front
Kicking dust up in my stomach
Where butterflies change to stone

Waiting for you, a setting sun
Flamed drizzling on my shoulders
Slumped reflections on a westward sky
As I still search to the east

Yes, this is just another night
Followed by just another day
An agonizing repetitive pattern
My always…without you

We long to touch, to embrace the night
Where sin is hidden from the light
The taste of flesh, such forbidden fruit
We falls far from the vine of truth

Beauty feeds the beast that must
Consume the fire of burning lust
One gives, one takes, one heart shall bleed
One takes more pleasure in ***** deeds...

Like a traveller without direction
A seeker with no sense of purpose
Walking through life aimlessly
Existing but not living
In an infinite maze of time and space
Shrouded in a mist of uncertainties
Darkness has become his light
Pain has become his plight
As he drifts endlessly into nothingness...*

Forgotten Heart
My poem
inhales
my love
And
exhales
your name
You are always with me
It took me only a moment to like her face
just some while to marvel at her skin
some more time to be charmed by her grace
but a lifetime and haven't reached her heart within!

Some days only it took to ride her cave
explore all her gorges mount her hill
when were reached all the places there to crave
found myself was searching her heart still!

Never thought would it need all my strength
for came easy harvesting her crust
and after having walked the years' length
can't say I have fully reached her heart!

I keep wondering to this day
if I had gone somewhere wrong from the start
as all that seemed precious didn't stay
and I am still madly trying to reach her heart!

Has the nerve to
Mimic the sound of your
Footsteps.

Guess you won't be
All gone until I
Am.

~

I'll mimic yours too, then.
To some heartbroken
Boy.

You are the 'North America' nebula
in all your splendor and colors
I am the remains of a supernova,
                        even NASA has long discarded,
exploded spectacularly-ancient Chinese recorded-
yet still alive, for you to admire!
wearily I view the star forming clouds
                         chomping through the cosmos,
enchanting still, I guess, I am, for a swirling landscape of stars
                         like you to profess your love;
I am overwhelmed, but this absurd drama
will eventually plunge us in to dark holes.
My darling, the cosmic dance has no rules;
pain in murky regions of star formation,
iridescent display of dead stars seeming to remain ever,
love, loss, collision, birth or rebirth
no apparent reason for anything, being and nothingness
too are kaleidoscopic, just creations of auto suggestion.
"North America Nebula"  is an emission Nebula in the shape of  continent North America, in the constellation Cygnus

Can you show me where love has gone
Like a missing chord in some sappy song
I have searched until I no longer care
Finding comfort in such despair

A rain of wonder fell upon
A land of broken dreams
Left its rainbow bright and brilliant
As any dreamer ever dreamed
No sooner did these dreams come true
The cloud returned to gray
And left me in this dreamland
Lost within the haze

Can we return to the passage
Where the answers seem so clear
Where the angel of the constellations
Dried up swelling tears
Where love and dreams walked hand in hand
Through eternity evermore
Where honesty and true compassion
Were the key to heaven’s door

Instead I wake up to this madness
Of constant give and take
Where the trees of life hardly bend
Before your spirit breaks
And a broom that sweeps the broken pieces
Underneath the rug of yesterday
Guided by the hands of time
To which we all have fallen slaves ...
