Call
 Nov 2014 heaven

I'm leaving you softly
behind the photographs
next to the dark room of my past

I'll find you roughly
in every surface I touch
next to the mausoleum

I'd miss you fondly
if I could understand
that you have left

I'll call god quickly
just to ask him
how you have been
Missing my mother. It has been two years now.

How the trees lean to the south
where the sun swallows the day

How the moon at night will push her
over the western edge
spilling colors into the sea

How in the garden at night
I make my way through shadow
following the music of loons

their sad blue notes
rising into a glossy sky
sparkled with stars

forever falling

She smells like marmalade
and Christmas trees.
She cuts her heart
where she places her knees.
She smokes in the park,
under the skating skies.
She makes me upset
and sometimes I make her cry.

Over in the dark,
she plays in the snow.
And if she feels cold,
I touch her chest
but I don't know.

Bask in the bark:
our names on a tree.
Carved with the knife
that she swung at me.

She says she's drowning in my ocean,
but I feel no emotion.

Her words suggest our bond
is as strong as a noose.
But she only loved me
when I was something to lose.

Her voice is strained.
Her skin is fair.
Her ******* lay on the countertop.
I **** her until my thoughts stop.

She rejects the notion of love for all,
as she leans against my kitchen wall,
with a cigarette and an unbuttoned blouse-
she wants to be homeless in my house.

She keeps me in her necklace's locket,
and I keep her in the wallet in my pocket.
Her toes kiss the linoleum,
she walks like she's made of helium.

She mumbles that I taste like mint chocolate chip,
as she rubs against my hip.
Her breath smells like Malboro Lights,
and I hope she decides to stay the night.

Milky Ways and Vanilla Cakes,
she likes the way my body shakes,
as we lay and eat our troubles away.
Hurried words slow the day.

She asks me about my stretch marks and scars,
and if I've ever been hit by a car.
And I say no, but I've been hit by love before,
and it feels like getting your hand caught in a door.

Hurried smiles and bathroom stalls,
she likes the way my family never calls.
The words escape between her plump lips,
as my hand travels between her hips.

We move until we forget
that the world is moving faster.

same old raunchy jokes
same old prates
same old habits
got your soul decayed

same old talk
you talk big game
spitting names to keep you sane

courage you speak
to those you fake
forget you not
so much for my sake

boo hoo you
boo hoo fake
boo hoo sacrifices
you said you make

all i get was ***** you've thrown
my name you spread
still claimed you mourn

so much love so much you make
so much bond from the names you scrape

it doesn't take long karma's taking place
you're falling now but you're still not awake
your own mind that you need to face
you are now your own disgrace

now you left with no clue
not even one person
not even one name
not even one soul bothers to save you
don't look at them look at you

that is the kind of love that you create
the joke now is on **you

This is not a poem,
but an image representing one.
(10w) Inspired by the work of Rene Magritte
It was like a speck of dust or maybe glitters.
Flew like fleeting birds and gave birth to crystals.
Those sparkly moments that gave perfection a new hue.
My insane mind, thinking I could have it all again.
These seconds that goes by so swiftly,
slips right through your bruised fingers
and leaves you with its lingering fragrance.
Embrace it while your soul is still alive,
for it awaits to turn into some desired memory.
Capture the dazzling beams, the flickers and twinkles.
The dashing street lights,
the sunrise in your heart,
the never ending chaos of a city life.
Rustles and bustles
Of a lovely morning breeze
That shines crystal rays.
