Solaces
From the shadow lands I return..
Toward glow and glimmer..
Into radiance and shine..

(I can see your light)

You await me there..
Your brown hair flowing in the winds..
It takes in the sun creating music to my eyes..

(I can see your shine)

The darkness falls off my shoulders..
It flows and drips from my hands..
As I walk back into the light toward you..

(I can feel your hope)

The last of blight leaves me..
The sun blooms on my skin..
You touch my face with both hands..

(I can feel your love)

My eyes have color again..
The ambers and the auburns return to each other..
To see eachother again..

(I can see your soul)

You recite a prayer to me..
An invocation to my belief..
And our eternal communion..

(I can hear you sing)
Just a little faith..
There is blood in my mouth
And I can still taste his kiss
An echo of a promise on my lips
His love has always felt like violence
Like a storm that does not break
Only builds, and I sit
Enraptured in the ozone
Rabbit in wolfs hungry jaws
He spins my hair around his finger
Smiles a liar’s smile
Tells me he loves me
And I hear thunder
If wrong was right
Then I'd be right
Mostly every time

If do or die
Was the way to live
Then I'd be doing fine

If problems would
All disappear
Blink and they go missing

If answers came
In sheets of gold
I could not afford to listen

If what I said
And what I did
Were one and the same

Who am I
Trying to kid
It'll never go down that way

Because right is right
And wrong is wrong
Proudly on display

So get a clue
Not as I do
And certainly not as I say

ATL
this vessel
houses gold;
without bearings in the flatland,
untarnished and eager.

it was born in small hands
jabbing at polypropylene beauties
spinning on a mobile
above dampened eyes,
uniform and bright.

the spinning never ceased;
ligaments lengthened
and seashells,
once musicians,
became resonant cavities.

haggard winds
stirred glaucous and ash into storm;
the sky became a clouded palette
of every shade between
stone and lightning.

what a fortune it was
to be carried away and found
again and again
in the endless above.
the wonders of tactility,
sweet sky as a stretcher...
carry me into tomorrow.
I walked until I saw the ocean.
And the wind made me think.
I stared at the waters and I saw your eyes.
I closed mine and I could feel your hand.

Memories of a past that I did not live.
In a present that I cannot see.
Dreaming about a future that don't belong to me.

I think that is my purpose.
A dream surfer.
A mind dweller.
A dead poet.

But now my feet are wet.
My clothes are not clean.
The sun is about to set.
In an image that I've never seen.
The sun kissing the sea.
In a picture that not even the gods could foreseen.

I must now go to a place that I cannot be found.
Deep waters….
If you want you can come too.
Because in the depths of my mind I found you.
