She is a thirteen month old red Labrador *****
He is a little black Tom cat with no *****
But they are unusual lovers
Honestly they are like a couple of teenagers who can't leave
Each other alone
Amber is my daughters dog who I baby sit
As soon as she gets in my door in the mornings it starts
Running up to each other sniffing noses and bums
Have you ever seen an adult cat picked up by a dog and carried round the garden?
Well I've had cats and dogs all my life and I've never seen it until now
Sleeping time and Merlin is curled up between Amber's feet

It's a crazy world
This is actually happening as I write

For four days now we've run before the bitter storm
Timbers cracked and broken, sails rent and torn

Hold fast boys, hold fast for a mighty wave is bearing down
And if you're swept across the rail then you must surely drown

I should try to wear the ship, get her head into the wind
But if I do my bonny lads we might end up twenty fathoms down

Helmsman stand here close by me, I'll lash you to the wheel
I can't afford to lose you lad for I need your arms of steel

Lads I'll do my best to bring you safely home
But we stand into terrible danger and yet may come to harm

My crew are tired, weary, lashed by wind and rain
They bravely fight the raging storm, bearing all their pain

Then comes a mighty shout. "See there a patch of blue"
Storm clouds like curtains opened and the sun came into view

Gather round me now my lads and give thanks to him above
For through your strength and through his guidance I can return you to those you love
I enjoyed writing this one and still get a great deal of pleasure every time I read it

Hello Poetry can be viewed as a beautiful garden
Fresh young flowers to full grown mature shrubs
And like any garden it needs maintenance
Every so often a plant can become blighted and sick
If left it will start to infect the healthy plants surrounding it
Drastic action is then required, rip it out and destroy every trace
Of its exhistance
That's how we keep the garden beautiful

Trolls may rant and trolls may rave
But they have hollow minds and little do they gain
I've not yet seen a single troll get the daily poem
Perhaps it's their ineptitude caused by stagnation of the brain
They choose a victim without conscious thought
Then attack with words of bitter bile
But then forget the Wolf bites deep
But still retains his smile
Now trolls are big and ugly
With the foulest words and breath
But, oh yes trolls remember
THE WOLVES ALL RUN IN PACKS
In support of my good friend Quin

What was Frodo thinking as he sunk under the burden of the one ring*

I'm slipping into the twilight world of shadows sombre grey
No more a world of sunlight
Or of birdsong summer days
Legs weary, sore, I struggle 'neath the weight
But I still must struggle on
To reach the Morgul gate
In my small hands I hold the future of mankind
For them and for their freedom I now must be prepared to die
Why me? Why me? Why was I the chosen one?
But I must think not of the past
But of a new life not yet born
Obviously I would never try to compare myself to the greatness of Tolkien but in my wild imagination I tried to place myself in the mind of Frodo

*your words formed in heaven
and then to leave
pained in hell
then to resist

on going, the way turned to bend
in the end, the end couldn't be seen
then continued to move,
that is to say celestial

words within too many words, make a wreath of the words,
maybe tell a fairytale,
simple words have lost in melody, tune
steadfast sight of the beautiful seen, mystic in the midst of the road

alone, then after alone, painted the portrait of thy
joy of life music,
weaving the words, craving a poetry
comes at a time, loss at untimely

maybe born in dreams
within too many words, a few perches into soul
to create forms, what an amazing ties!
ah, this poetry book has lost in poetry!

I sat down and thought
About what my life is worth
And came up with this
