Alone in a sonnet he sings to no one,
pouring his life in a thimble
Sheet music saplings unfold in the sun,
melodies eager and nimble

Carving a song in the rock at his feet,
tempos of Saturday’s season
Lyrics he’s written but can not repeat,
sadness a part of the reason

Clouded concertos amass in the sky,
metronome thunderstorms grumble
Holding his breath as he fears he might cry,
deaf as the harmonies crumble

Tuning fork echoes that weep on the wind,
listening for what they are saying
Unrecognizable only to him,
breaking this heart he is playing

Please wake me up, tell me I’m alive.
I feel numb sometimes it’s hard to open up to people nowadays.
I need help, say something to me and then maybe I will believe in this world again.

Want You,
Yes,
Miss you,
Yes,
Hug you,
Yes,
Kiss you,
Yes.
Hold me,
Yes,
Take me,
Yes.
At the altar
To you,
I'll say
I do.

Dear Patient,

Here’s the prescription
I promised to write
Just like any doctor might do

An extended leave
A southern location
A room with a beautiful view

A candlelit dinner
Moonlight and roses
A bottle of chilled chardonnay

Romantic music
Soft summer kisses
Sending your worries away

The one of your dreams
An evening together
Love on a warm summer night

A sunrise good morning
Breakfast in bed
Satin sheets woven in white

A day in the sun
Drinks on the river
Affectionate moments for two

Take all you need
There’s no expiration
Unlimited refills for you

Signed,
Your Poetic Physician

He said I’m a great poet.
Never stop writing he said, never.
He told me he loves my work, he said he loves me.
He made me feel something again.
I’m afraid to lose him, he means everything to me.
He has taught life lessons.
I’m different, I have changed people notice.
He helped me realize I’m beautiful.
I’m so much more confident.
I would of never wrote this much and pursued writing more if it weren’t for him.
I love him, I love him this is the best feeling in the world.
This is dedicated to someone special. I love you.
I know this world is sometimes hard and even a little depressing.
But you have given me so much and taught me a lot.
I will always remember you, always.
I think this will be my last poem for the night, maybe lol unless I think of something else to write :)
I love all of you and thank you so much for everyone who follows me and who has given me support here on Hellopoetry.

I am a guide to the labyrinth
Come & see me
in the green hotel
Rm. 32
I will be there after 9:30 p.m.

I will show you the girl of the ghetto
I will show you the burning well
I will show you strange people
haunted, beast-like, on the
verge of evolution

Leaving the phone-booth, I was
Struck by a whiff of
the weird.
Insane old country woman
come to nag the haunts
of town
Hairy legs w/open sores.

From what swamp or under-rock
did you crawl to remind
us what we choose
to leave
