waking up everyday knowing
you can be anyone
and everyday choosing to be yourself

Where the Nightingales die.

By
Jude Kyrie

In my heart there's
a place where you linger.
Soft shoulders where
I go to cry .

There's a crack in a
dark shuttered window.
And a tree where the
Nightingales die.

A sliver of melting twilight
Falls down on a meadow of green
My heart wants to
drown in your pure light.
In a place where
true loves never been.

You fade in a darkened barroom.
Where men go to die of the blues
I bring you two dozen teardrops
To pour on your soul to bloom.

I will light up your faded parlors
If you look you will see me there.
I will be wearing a coat of forever
A rose growing wild in my hair

So carry me down to your rivers
let me bathe in the pools of your sighs.
Here's my heart here's my soul
there for you now.
Forever until all time dies.

hollowings
The crisped air shuddered soundly through my cracked window
Carefully weaving wistful wanderings into my mind
lacking of self pity and doubt
Im taken back to a time about
a year or so ago
when money didn’t matter
and I still had a home

Now I’m sitting in a tahoe
shootin arrows at apollo
wondering if Ill ever find
where all my wasted wishes go
cuz the timer reads 11:12
just a minute past those dreams are shelved
and I’m lost in october
finding out my mental states desolved
resolving resolutions made at 11:59
not quite sure if can make it 68 more
and still be fine.

My parents warned me about the drugs in the street.
But never the one with blue eyes and a heartbeat.

they don't hear you.
That's the

lean down into the garden
lean down with your eyes, hair and breath
lean out and gather
the every which way of life
until you’ve scooped up
every flower bud of this world
and gather it into your arms
into one life
and then lean back
through the window
slink back into the shade
of yourself,
find the sun
and start planting

From the invisible a bird flies past eyesight
a song bursting out its beak
ah, that unseen world around all corners
underneath and out of sight.
