One night for a whole hour
I stayed awake for meteor shower
A good night’s sleep tho’ I badly need
Beckoned me the fireworks of Geminid.

I imagined sky in dazzling light
Shooting stars in lunatic flight
And me this splendor viewing alone
With moon at west close to dawn.

On my hairs dripped dews noiseless
Eyes caught Jupiter’s shining face
I stood the hour in awesome stupor
Seeking in Gemini the bright Castor.

Lo not flowed the faintest streak
Winter’s chill dug and pricked
Smell of morn when was airborne
I left for bed displeased and worn.
Geminid meteors - name derived from the Gemini constellation
Castor - the bright star in Gemini

there is stardust in your veins
galaxies drift through your blood
supernovae accompany your heartbeats

and similarly to the stars in the sky
you stay hidden during the day
but at night, when you're at peace
you shine brightly,
with blinding force

I am forced to observe from a distance
much like the dwarfs in space
because you have placed yourself
millions of miles away
millions of miles out of reach

Wanderer
I'm looking for a runner
A top gun stunner
Someone who does not shove me behind
In battle
Instead prefers me side by side
A shield maiden in my own right

sometimes I am the storm destroying everything that gets in my way, most of the time I am house of cards, torn apart even by a gentle sway
sometimes I am the beautiful sunrise, most of the times i am the blackness of night
sometimes rainbows come to me and borrow my colors, most of the time I Am the queen of everything broken and dark
sometimes I am gravity, most of the times I'm just a void
sometimes I am a strong tide, most of the times I'm the footsteps washed away on sand
sometimes I am what you want, most of the times I am everything you want to run away from but you can't
sometimes i am the warmth, but always I am the damp storehouse you never visit
sometimes I am the sound of windchimes playing that remind you of home, most of the times I am the slamming of the door and You're always leaving
sometimes I am the lullaby that helps you sleep, most of the times I am the silent screams in your head that won't leave you alone
sometimes I'm fire but mostly I'm ashes on the floor,
sometimes I Am hurricane but mostly I am the first building to fall
sometimes i am passion but mostly i am the regretful tears
sometimes I am your muse but mostly i am the song whose lyrics you always forget

*Sometimes I'm the sun but mostly I'm the ray whose shadow left itself for him

It smells like summer on the island
Like laundry and leaves
Like late-afternoon lakewater
And pollen-filled breeze
I remember my summers on the island
The bunkbeds and bonfires
Beaches, bikinis
And dirt roads under dark tires
Birch trees and blackberries
Blue birds and sour cherries
Two hours on the ferry
Summer on the island
Lawn chairs and lemonade
Hammock-hanging, holidaying
Laying in the lazy shade
Hiking high into the bright blue sky
Deep inhale and satisfied sigh
We had been waiting for this
Our summer on the island
Cold tides and closed eyes
Penny candy and pecan pie
Crop-tops, flip-flops, tree-forts and drop-offs
Crayfish, crayons
And breakfast on the dock at dawn
This was summer on our island
Millions of mosquitoes, minnows and movies till midnight
Eating smores in the smoky firelight
Running through the trailer park in the rain after dark
Our summer on this island
Everything was my favourite part
I loved it all
The grass
The trees
The foamy waterfall
Sun, seagulls and sand dunes
Either services or sleeping in till noon
Sweet island summer, over too soon
Summer on the island
Was a lifetime ago
The island was my summer
But I’m letting go.

In the darkness
Lying in wait
A force so strong
Deceit and hate

It flows through the air
Like a ***** stream
Looks for the simple
To their thoughts I'll sing

Through out the bait
Will they bite?
The darkness is patient
It can look like The Light

A force so subtle
Like a passing wind
It starts with a thought
That's how it begins
Then out through the mouth
The venom sets in

O if the simple
Would stop and think
From the ***** water
They would not drink
They would see the disease
And wars that they cause
Before they spoke
they would stop and pause

There is great force
In Love there's no crime
Creating peace
Easy to find
Let what you say
Water the earth
Up from the ground
Flowers give birth
Clean pure water
For all to drink
If only the simple
Would stop and think
