I write this poem
Because I have a question
A question I have been wanting to ask you
From the day that I met you

We talked and talked
Shared songs
Spoke about jobs
Read poems
Talked about school

We spoke with each other
Through messages
So I never got to know your voice
Your way of talking

You might see where I am going
So I'll ask it directly
Will you meet me
Over a cup of coffee?

Simone
and when people ask me
what my type is

i describe
the spark i saw
in your eyes
the happiness
i felt bad in your voice
the butterflies
i got when you were here

it
hurts
so
much
Falling for someone new
while still not over you
is the hardest **** to get through
It comes and goes
When it stops
I'll never know
Living in this life
Its all quite a maze
Going here maybe there
Quite confusing
Time doesn't stop
So you really never know
When or how
So as you grow
Your dreams may not be
Only now can you guess
Live it now let it go
Don't reach to far
Keep it real feel it breath it
It's all just a maze
So as you go
Remember you never know

fall in love with someone
who treats your scars
like birthmarks
You give so much love,
Yet forget to love yourself
Your heart so fragile
It shatters so easily
Yet it's a heart so big
It's craves to bring joy
To everyone it encounters.
The kindest of them all
The loving of them all
Are those that know not love
