I wish I could gather all your broken pieces ,
and heel the scars that the shatter had left in you.

But here I am, oblivious of how to gather my own wreckage.
Inspired by someone.
Sitting on my own
The room is full with people
But I'm still alone.
Two Nerds
saw you in the corner
someones lost daughter
walked over to you
me having no clue
expecting rejection
her beauty was perfection
sat down and said hi
she was a bit shy
bought her a drink
had no idea what to think
she was lost for words
we were just two nerds
pocket protectors and glasses
passing each other mystical gases
laughing at our silly jokes
lighting each others smokes
people couldn't help but stare
who cares if we're square
was this luck or fate
found me a girl,
I didn't have to inflate
she didn't care about my bad teeth
she only saw underneath
I didn't care about her zits
she had incredible ****
that's the story of two nerds
all other stories are for the birds

Unlike then
we lay (t)here, adjacent
but utterly sepparated.
I don't get this whole 10w thing well enough to do it, but I'm playing with it anyway.

Revolt when
I ask you for
help
a foster boy using an alias teaches my son to shoot.

it’s the tooth fairy on a sad day finds
under my pillow
a handgun.

you know your father
is a night owl.
We're alive and drunk
On love and pain
We reach high
We sink low

Rock bottom
Very often

We sink our teeth
Into the flesh
Which is
Our flaws

We pick out
The good
The bad
The ugly
The tragedy

Dust ourselves off
For another day
To take a deep breath
Before we think
Of the rest

We struggle
To keep
Emotions
From seeping out
Which is why
We drink
We smoke
Until it
Knocks
Us out
Why are you so sordid?
I have been laying here,
All night, every night
Loving you,
Touching you,
But you do not reciprocate,
Why are you so sordid?
You grace my tv screen,
Laptop screen,
Phone screen,
You smile and you flirt,
You just make me love you more,
Why are you so sordid?
I lie awake, my hands in your hair,
My lips on your lips,
We meet, in perfect uniformity.
Yes...I thought of it all.
How perfect we would be,
If only you knew me, actor.
You just have me going round and round.
Flirting with me as you do in your movies,
Teasing me, I know its just a movie, just acting,
But surely you must know me,
You act for me!
You provoke this feeling in me,
How cruel of you, to tease an innocent girl like this,
Why are you so sordid?
I feel you so close, yet we've never met,
We are strangers, but in my nightmares we are the greatest lovers.
But
I cannot love you
When I do not love myself
