Verse 1
With truth emerged, to stand in line I’m on the verge
A full embrace, the time has come to run my race
Born and raised, with humbleness I will amaze
A southern town, strengthened roots lay underground

Chorus
I’m ready to live, my all declared of which to give
I’m destined to soar, a soulful rising shall befall
I’m ready to live, a challenged past I will forgive
A boundless find, this opportunity is mine

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Bridge
My quest defined, with character and soul aligned
No time to wait, the steps laid down for me to take

Verse 2
Of temporal gain, my inner joy it will sustain
To signify, the clouds that come to mystify
A plan contrived, my gift to give to bring to life
Uniquely rare, a purposed calling not compared

To be rebuilt, to be restored, to re-establish broken walls

Of former gates now rising up, to them that will rejoice

On assignment from the palace

Nehemiah of noble rank

With zest and zealous zeal

A great work to begin, relinquish finding fault

Continue the consigned course, even if by force

A purposeful quest, yet enemies seek to oppress

Chosen people of Jerusalem

Their aim to hinder

To turn our plans to cinders, of ruin again

Aside from jeers and jokes, we evoke the passion inside

From such a purpose as this

For Nehemiah here to rebuild, not to rebel

To hear of enemies plans, such work began

Armed hands of spears and swords

Guarding watchmen day and night, to then distract, a covert act

To call him away, an unprincipled trip, good intentions not

Yet passing times, forward seasons

Gave no reason, for continued up-rise

No scheme or lies, could dissolve desire

Nor cause delay

Gathered rules, with listening intent

Help the people, re-join and restore customs, not law

Promising years, place heathen aside, do not idolise

A Saviour will return

The writings of Malachi

A faithful prophet, of faithful words

Rivers run, rivers flow, let it flow, let it flow

Creativity, never let it go

The bud that must flower, the tree that must grow

Seeds of germination, future take shape

Tis the dreamers, the believers, the doers, the achievers

Who so create tomorrow’s world

The missionaries, the visionaries, a land of oysters, a sea of pearls

For they are the exceptions to the norm

Of no measure to conform

The beacons of light, with wings they take flight

Inner propensity, with authenticity, they make it a priority

To shape society, and so establish, their mark in history

They venture beyond the comfort zone, a road less travelled

If so alone

Camouflaged not, born to stand out

To realize within, manifest without

Captains of their destiny, they pave the way for others to be

Purpose, passion, legacy, extraordinaire, epitome

Yet beyond limits, illusions overcome

Great beyond measure, their rule of thumb

Multi-dimensional, that which was chose

The vessels of which creativity flows

The journey of life, taken at the helm

With access to another realm

Transcendent thought, that cannot be bought

Noteworthy cause, lest run-of-the-mill

Guided forward by a higher will

The prominent years, of which did last

Great heights of power, of centuries past

According to legend, thy Rome we build

Twin brothers afore, o’ Remus killed

O’ city of Rome, of which we name

A land of power, government, fame

A laurel wreath, for emperors made

Make way Augustine, we shall invade

Proud legions stand, march with thy sword

Set up camp, in one accord

Hilltops on high, settlement surround

Excavated objects found

We bind the law, of which was spoke

Of magistrates power, enforce, evoke

Writings carved, upon thy stone

Papyrus, bronze, of Latin alone

Villas remain, a courtyard near

Mosaic art, yet to revere

Myths and legends, they chose per se

God and goddess, a role to play

The Colosseum, the serious wars

O’ re-enact at theatre doors

Horses trotting, yet at a pace

The circus held, thy chariot race

Lend a penny, now let us bath

Thy mineral water, water wave

As strigils scrape, upon thy skin

With lavish oil, thy slave rub-in

A solid cause, bring to effect

Our empire built, we shall protect

Provinces, lands, we captured all

Stood to defend, afore thy fall

At quarter past eight, I thought I would be late

Yet it was still early in the morning

Become what may, of the school holiday

My grandfather Joe was still yawning

At quarter past nine, I really took my time

My bowl of porridge was awaiting

At five past ten, I woke up from my den

My grandmother Sue was still debating

At half past eleven, we reached the River Severn

The ducks on the bank were astounding

At twenty to twelve, we saw a Mr Melve

He fell into the river, heart was pounding

At ten past one, my joy had nearly gone

My very tiny belly was to grumble

Yet five minutes later, we saw a kind waiter

The best meal ever, rendered humble

At twenty five to two, we visited the zoo

Gorillas were looking at me strangely

At five past three, birds surrounding me

They seemed to want to re-arrange thee

At quarter past four, we reached the zoo door

Grandmother left the shop so jolly

At half past five, her smile had come alive

She had bought me gifts and holly

At ten past six, my bike he had to fix

The shining glare was less appealing

At half past six, I was really in the mix

Dinner time coming was the feeling

At five to eight, they thought I couldn’t wait

Bedtime stories were commencing

Laughing in the night, a glorious sight

Grandfather talked about fencing

By quarter past eight, at a splendid rate

Grandfather saw me looking sleepy

Into the night, switching off the light

Twinkling stars will surely greet me

Orbiting the Sun, as though it were a ring

Summer then autumn, winter and spring

Opposites exist, as in day and night

The tilting of the Earth, now gives way to light

Of the inner planets, are we relatively near?

Orbiting Earth around the Sun in a year

Complexities of life, numerous reasons

Varying sunlight does create the seasons

Tilt towards the Sun, daylight will appear

A period of summer for that hemisphere

Lush green landscapes and longer days

Outdoor games in the sunshine rays

Shorter days of autumn, increased rain to fill

Leaves with less production of chlorophyll

Artistic shades of yellow, brown and red

Temperatures fallen, withered flower head

Chilly winter season, birds off to migrate

Bearing longer nights, animals hibernate

Trees losing leaves, dormant to survive

Incubated eggs, for winter has arrived

Such a joy in spring, fresh daises to pick

Wonders of new life, the hatching of a chick

Animals emerging, formation align

Plants burst into flower, ever so divine

Of European descent, from whence they came

Across the borders to settle, re-establishment

Angles, Saxons and Jutes – Anglo-Saxon be known

Conquered lands, such roads have served, that of the Roman Empire

Yet under attack, strong order we lack

Helpless – o’ kingdom cry

As legions left, nations wept

Our production has ceased

O’ Saxons – mercenaries be hired

Will you defend us now?

Picts trouble thee

From ‘worthlessness’, ‘choice nature’ reflect

Anglo warriors now stand abreast

Ruddy remains, Arthur’s battle in vain

Battle of Hastings, charge and maim

A legend’s defeat, as armies retreat to lands afore

O treasured finds, beneath the silt

Fragmented helmet, of skilled design

Corrosion abhor, yet to restore

Tarnished silverware, o’ iron rusts

For much gold lay, retained –unchanged

Grave goods of Sutton Hoo, barrow over thy ship

O’ King be laid?

With objects frayed

Unaware of whetstone wear – we honour thee!

Of features present, of features past

Churches of stone, post-hole home

Tis farming year, with ploughs we break

Prepare thy soil, crops shall thrive

Fatten thy cattle, raise thy calf

Barter thee, present ye half

Commence thy craft, thy potter’s clay

Of antler work and carpentry

Thee be skilled, our peoples free

Take me to the distant places

Take me far beyond the sky

To embrace the broad horizon

Where both my wings can fly

Take me to a place of courage

Far beyond a place of fear

To unfold my true formation

Sailing forth to seas sincere

Set to rise with true elation

Former thoughts to unlearn

To discover more within me

A desired truth to yearn

For the place I hold so dearest

Confirmation of a sign

To live my life on purpose

The opened door is mine

A time of bold decision

With discouragement aside

To a land of my victory

With my eyes kept on the prize

On the prize………….

Verse 1
There's a father in heaven, who always leads me by the hand
Who picks me up if I would fall, a father who always understands
He takes me to his dwelling place, where I can go to seek his face
His face
I have found my hope in you, you reflect a solemn truth
Golden crowns I will accrue, you will see my victory through
A harmonised refreshing dew, for I live to follow you
Follow you

Chorus
If you would shine your light, if you would shine your light
A promising refining, of no greater timing
Casting out the darkness, a divine fulfilment
Bringing all completeness
Stretch your mighty hand

Verse 2
Let your waters overflow, a joyful countenance to show
A faithful vine will surely grow, lead me to the place to go
For in you I will not lack, your promises, not taken back
Not taken back
As I bow you will arise, your awesome power realised
A mighty wonder symbolized, present glory magnified
Of your ways tested and tried, for you are the greatest prize
The greatest prize

Shirley Bassey is a renowned songstress, with flair and appeal, that has captivated audiences worldwide. From humble beginnings, her earlier years would see her sights set for the stage. She took the opportunities to perform her vocal talent locally to small crowds. Yet a later opening of an audition placed her where opportunity could see her. With a manger on board, she could now pursue her dream on a larger scale and reach larger audiences.

She was driven, determined and bold, whilst she also had the crystal clear confidence to take her talent to the stage. Her power ballads have not only stood out, but have stood the test of time. Such pursuits had additionally brought about her role to sing iconic theme songs for James Bond. She possesses charisma and her glamorous style continues to be a phenomenal showcase for 'fashionistas' alike. Her legacy, as like diamonds continues to shine on, with diverse generations equally inspired

Components form a basic need

A plant produced, a healthy seed

Light and warmth, spring water flow

Tranquil air helps plants to grow

The sunshine rays that beam with light

With health, green leaves shall stand upright

Natural cycles won’t evolve

A dark surround, left bare and cold

That light of which dear plants rely

Devoid of light, such plants would die

Tall spindly state, o light shall seek

Epitomises growing weak

Watered fields, roots delight

Nutrient soil, anchored upright

Beneath the earth, a process starts

Up through the stem to distinct parts

Sunshine glare, of natural bliss

Make way photosynthesis

Bring forth a bout of showering

The varied kinds are flowering

Embrace the harvest, water surge

Where leaves and flower buds emerge

Insects travel, pollination

Carried forth, fertilisation

Dispose and scatter seeds below

Create anew, for plants to grow

Coloured petals, a summer breeze

Butterflies and bumble bees

Attractive plant, a keen insect

Solid petals will protect

Sweetest nectar – energy

Exist for bees to make honey

Splish splash splish, sunshine bliss

Crashing waves, glistening summer rays

Of days, at the seaside shore

Longing for more, we reminisce

As waves bellow, so we build

Sandcastles on high, quickening sand running over my hand

Slippery stepping stones across oceanic floors

As ‘She’ sets sail, seagulls soar, over the sandy shore

A pool of rock, bucket and *****

Toward the tide and so we wade

Ice-cream dream

Transparent view, starfish slither

We come to a s-t-a-n-d-s-t-i-l-l

Intrigued yet by the wonders of the deep

Sheer radiance

Fetched flip-flops, seaward bound

The zest of life

Cruise the current, row the flow

We drift, we drift

Seaweed and squid

Glancing at the pier, windmill yet afar

Kite shall ride the wind, a break thereupon

Such glee of days

What joy could override

Our sunny seaside

Peace be still, strike thy pose

Epitome of eloquence, footsteps of the queen

Pearls of wisdom, solemn portrait

Position thy hat, attend to thy shirt, that of satin, that of lace

Family ties, adornment to each

All is well with thee, obedience calls – o’ child be seen, be not heard

Be seated; be still, thou shalt not be disturbed

Workhouses – be deterred, apprentice house preferred

Sacrificial morning, make way to the pit

A revolution of demand, provisions of coal, of iron, of copper, deposits of old

What sayeth thee?  We shall supply!

As pitheads wind, so miners grind

Seek and follow, tunnels be low – passages of the great

Toil dawneth on me, forty winks be yearned

As we flock to the town

Of craftsmen, of blacksmiths, tailors assist

Technology equips, shoe last o’ stiff

Fine fettles are thee, inventions surpass

Full steam ahead!  Country be lead.

Of sheets, of rolls, printing amass

Fortunes be stirred, households back to back

Our cast-iron range, warmth to thy home

Fresh statuses arise, relieve former ties

Ambition abound, middle class be found

Boil water on the range, afore we bath

Of fresh produce, of luscious game, black pudding o’ delight

Shilling be spent, fill up thy churn

Horses’ clod on cobbled streets, ploughed fields, farmer’s relief

Leg thy narrow boat, steam locomotive, cut short thy duration

Better to tow, canal bank astride

The Victorian age, of history, of pride

Peering through the enchanted door, tell me what you feel

Populated land of plenty

Yet hearts brimming with sin,

Dishonourable thoughts, unwholesome deeds

Blessings, provision, no gratitude thereof

The young mirrored such ways

Distaste all around, high and low, near and far

Preoccupied souls, distractions abound

Within such surroundings, righteousness remained

The remembrance of Noah, a passing of days, instructions foretold

An unfolding promise, destruction of old

A time for renewal, a solid ark to build

Call forth the chosen, the chosen are few

Gather your wives and sons, animals two by two

Close the door, seek refuge no more

Waters shall arise, raging torrents, streams will flow

Forty days and forty nights

Water-covered earth, send a raven to and fro

Send a dove for resting place

Imminent return, a week of wait

A second return, an olive leaf

Of such relief, the flood had ceased

A beautiful becoming, land again

An open door

An offer of sacrifice upon the altar

A promise on high

Rainbow sky

Twas the flames of the night, that caused such a fright

In the great and vibrant city

Merchants arranged, at the Royal Exchange

Yet events to unfold struck pity

Rich noblemen and proud women

Strolling by the River Thames

No time to tarry, new goods to carry

Both silk and spice were gems

Projected below, dark streets narrow

Houses aligned together

O’ tinder dry, would not defy

The elements of the weather

Flames would not wane, on Pudding Lane

John Farynor’s baker’s shop

As the flames took hold, his scared household

Climbed to the nearest roof top

As watchmen saw, the sudden roar

Citizens ‘playing for keeps’

Abandon thy home, leave well alone

The diary of Samuel Pepys

With morning anew, it did continue

Warehouse of the riverside

An acrid stench, o’ would not quench

The smoke of which to override

Black clouds be seen, o’ King intervene

Equip your soldiers and band

A decision to take, for a ‘fire-break’

A guinea press into thy hand

With energy spent, make way to the tent

Creations upon Moorfields

Yet to discover, new ways to recover

Bring forth new trade and yields

New plans for when, thy Charles and Wren

Construct and build, be willing

The worthy meets, brought straighter streets

Provide thee with a shilling

We can but climb, as we define

The new magnificent

Brick homes no fall, yet standing tall

The commemorate monument

Verse 1

If love is what you feel and it’s real

Authentic, bona fide, with true appeal

From high to low emotions on the course

All I’m asking of you, I shall not force

To reach forever more for your hand

Only skies from up above will understand

To walk that open road, towards the dream

Yet my heart will comprehend what I mean

Chorus

And if it’s safe with me, it’s plain to see

The one and only place to build a home

And while you wait and see, if the grass is green

Greener on the other side of the road

Greener on the other side of the road

Verse 2

The readiness to move, the swift reply

The yearning just to feel the my oh my

There’s nothing else to prove, nor answer why

With dedicated thought, I’ll aim to try

The pull, a mighty force, has kept you there

So far away from me, you’re unaware

To render ever still and not be moved

The tainting of my heart, so to sooth

Chorus

Bridge

Oh please tell me, whoever is to know

Destined so to try or forever let me go

That special part of me, was casted to the shore

I’ll surely wait to see, is this forever more

Written by Geraldine Taylor ©
The Other Side of the Road is a country song that ties in romance with potential heartbreak. It is not uncommon for individuals at times to regard neighbouring circumstances as more desirable than one's own. It can be as innumerable as the galaxies and stars, as to the outward appearances that can be deemed more favourable. The count of luxury vacations, fashionable clothes, expensive cars and grand properties can all come under the radar of the wandering eye.

In the case of this song, the existing relationship has now come to a crossroads. Two partners are on the verge of making up or breaking up, whereby one feels that the relationship has become dull over time. Instead of re-igniting the original flame, she has now come in view of a more promising venture, in the form of love elsewhere. She is faced with the decision of re-kindling her current relationship, or dropping everything and sticking with a new love conquest. Her partner is keen to re-establish their romance and pick up where they left off, yet the overall choice has been left with her.

The Passage of Time

Verse 1

To experience the seasons brought therein

To elaborate beyond where we begin

To gravitate through intricated ways

To thus behold the miracle of days

To belong, to be loved, to be more than enough

May souls align with blessings from above

Chorus

There’s no measure, I will treasure

All in my life, of which come to mind

With due reason, it is the season

For embracing the passage of time

The passage of time

Verse 2

So invaluable are moments from the heart

The yearning for, in times we spent apart

May we reconcile all undelivered peace

Let all creativity of soul release

To belong, to be loved, to be more than enough

May souls align with blessings from above

Verse 1

Whether I’m young or old, there’s a story to be told

Well above any claim to beautify

If there’s a wrong or right, there’s always a goal in sight

Let my perspective override

Chorus

It’s time to take control, let every book unfold

It’s my worth to make my own

Let every thought release, no part of me compete

Let only upright seeds be sown

There’s every kind of beautiful

Verse 2

Whether I’m short or tall, there’s every wonderful

Of every shape and every size

Cascading curls to straight, long flowing or a braid

Let each be worthy of a prize

Chorus

Bridge

Let me find the goodness in me, to deserve and to love and be free

Come celebrate the beauty we see, let’s celebrate the beauty we see

It’s all my choice what to feel, my perspective taken is real

Every nation colour and creed, every nation colour and creed

Chorus

Written by Geraldine Taylor ©
There's Every Kind of Beautiful is a song of celebration, the essence of which is to advocate personal individuality, as well as diversity. The song acknowledges that each person is unique and beautiful in their own way. The fundamental idea is that each individual should embrace their individuality and seek to become the best version of themselves as opposed to striving to be an imitation of somebody else.

Within the chorus the individual makes a personal decision to no longer place herself in competition with anybody else, but to establish her own self worth. The second verse places emphasis on different physical features and attributes of people, with the recognition that beauty can be found in all.

The accompanying bridge gives reference to the celebration of beauty in all nations, races and creeds. The aim is not to limit the attribution of beauty to just only a few, but to acknowledge humanity at large.

Of joy unabated, triumphantly won

Of a mountainous climb, boundless breath-taking

Of odds stacked against

Take to the skies, together we fly

Beat to my drum, we synchronize

Of harmonies, love stands entwined

At one in chorus, sheer distinction

Stellar smile, symbolic signs

Travelling loves unwinding road, of paths untold

In victory dance, bold chances took

Of gazes transfixed, a future eclipsed

Distinctive souls, becoming as one

Guided footsteps, of days devoted

Moments noted, pebbled miles

A tender embrace, a solemn vow

Instants captured, a time of now

First words, first steps

Treasures k-e-p-t

Ensemble of togetherness

Acts of all benevolence

Consoled companion, constancy

Trust of actuality

Set beyond dichotomy

Forever fleeting

Enthralling essence, captivating

Yet a tiny fraction, there is so much more

Such a prominent universe to explore

Numerous galaxies, planets and stars

Orbiting the Sun above just like Mars

Saturn has a ring, others have a moon

Planets filled with gas like a hot balloon

Travelling in light years, so far away

Yet our solar system is a vast array

Looking through my telescope, planets to see

Looking out for Jupiter and Mercury

There is icy Pluto further from the Sun

My curious journey has just begun

The strong pull of gravity, keeping into place

The days, months and years, yet moving at a pace

Fascinating satellites, informative machine

Launching of the space crafts, places never seen

If I were an astronaut, how would I feel?

Adapting to space food, a dried and sealed meal

Travelling on mission, in the atmosphere

Witnessing diameters that I can but revere

On that day however, was my teacher playing tricks

Looking through the glasses, viewing the eclipse

Yet the Milky Way has a spiral twist

Looking from our planet, where current life exists

The day of Pentecost had fully come, as they met in one accord

A sudden sound, a mighty wind, a token of the Lord

Cloven flames, tongues of fire, as thy sprit thus descent

Prepareth the soul for gentle gales, yet convicted to repent

A miracle yet of the mind, upon prophets of old

To preach to nations intelligibly, effects to thus unfold

Perplexed and thus bewildered, as languages be spake

Other tongues of utterance, the faith of Christ awake

A solemn feast brought to a halt, a mighty great concourse

To hear the good news of the Lord, observed with some remorse

To meaneth truth and yet be mocked, to claim they’re full of wine

God chose the weak to confound the wise, as branches of the vine

The day hereby thus prophesied, by Joel of centuries past

The miracles, signs and wonders, fulfillment brought to last

Peter’s message communicated restoreth divine favour

The fruit of Christ resurrection, he ascended our great saviour

Fully clothed with power, his rising yet not disproved

The supernatural phenomena, his word shall not be moved

The same Jesus who was crucified is both our Christ and Lord

As still proclaimed amongst the earth, which we could not afford

Allegiance owed to he who reigns, who sat on David’s throne

The highest honour in heaven, our hope in Christ alone

A sense of awe, an awesome joy, others joined to listen

As the multitudes were saved and to see the Lord’s love glisten

Of t-i-m-e, we knoweth not

That which could stand still

Transcends us all

An opportune moment, of which to befall

A flicker of hope, desireth more

To seize, to freeze, this window frame

Pictures in the sand, ‘sandline’ recede

Rainbow brilliance, swiftly hidden from view

Precious pearls, of days brought anew

Wonderment happenings, fastening through

Peering back with merriment glance

Lost in time, of but one chance

Verse 1

Like a hummingbird with wings to fly, emerging forward towards the sky

Ever receptive to the dream, for all that you’ve witnessed or ever seen

Release and so defy, no greater time to try, just hold on, trust and so rely

Much higher than the fall, it’s time to give your all

To the promises you’re believing for

Chorus

I believe you will receive, the blessings, its free

I am sure, you’re truly called, to the victory, that is yours

It’s time to soar

Verse 2

With an open mind, steered to drive, follow through to the road, you will arrive

Operate the gear, embrace the view, I believe in this, I believe in you

Release hold off the break, it’s time to operate, keep going, there’s just no time to wait

Your view is crystal clear, it’s that special time, it’s your moment

The promises are near

Chorus

Bridge

Spread your wings, at the edge to take the flight

Look beyond, deterrents in your sight

To succeed, turn wrongness into right

Travel through to greater heights

Chorus

Verse 1
With apparent separation, I was beheld and set apart
The formation of my journey, belonging to you from the start
With purpose I’m created, of solutions set to solve
Part of a bigger picture and with eloquence evolve

Chorus
So let your ways, become my ways
Through the days, trust the timing of the season
Yet your plans, are not mine to rearrange
Those blissful rays, trust the timing of the season

Verse 2
An ever sure foundation, with preparation and design
With a virtue of patience, not to rush ahead of time
There is glory in the story, there’s reasons for a test
To uphold a godly standard and awaiting for the best
Chorus

Bridge X2
There is a greatness to accomplish
There is triumph in the game
With such ample room for growing
Let this be a time of change

Chorus

Verse 1
When true love began, I felt my soul yet immersed into the waters of trust
With a sure intent, you had captured my eyes towards a central focus
Anticipating, the unfolding of dreams across the vision of time
Infatuated, with a symbolic splendour of love that is mine

Chorus
Of significance, shadowed silhouette
Existing undefined against comparison
Soulful harmony, captivating me
Truly everlasting to eternity

Verse 2
Of such evidence, truly reflecting the substance within
Rare and exceptional, an awesome acquaintance of graceful living
Anticipating, the unfolding of dreams across the vision of time
Infatuated, with a symbolic splendour of love that is mine

Chorus

Bridge
For I will embrace your worth
From here to the ends of the earth
My longing for you I’ll declare
For I will be there, yeah

To him that is risen, in him I am forgiven

To him that wears the crown, where true love can be found

To him that is the Saviour, blesses us with favour

To him of mighty strength, to you I can repent

To him who can perform, miracles to forlorn

To him of sovereign worth, our ruler of the earth

To him that restores peace, where wonders never cease

To him the gates allow, where even angels bow

To him yet seated high, to which I can rely

To him of thirst relief, of faith with sure belief

To him of strength to seek, forgotten and the weak

To him our hearts be kept, without we are bereft

To him that we belong, a cleanser of the wrong

To him that holds the throne, my soul is not alone

Verse 1
To play it’s safe is out of the question
Living by my fullest expression
With open doors, a welcoming season
An unseen force, above any reason
To discontinue building someone else’s dream
I’ll trust the process of acquired means

Chorus
To live by faith, when others doubt it
The kind of faith that can move mountains
To live by faith, water flowing over
Going beyond the mediocre, oh yeah

Verse 2
Drawing to that joyful feeling
The future’s bright, a timely revealing
Encompassing insightful believing
A purposeful continued achieving
To discontinue building someone else’s dream
I’ll trust the process of acquired means

Chorus

Bridge
Oh faith, nothing less, oh true faith will test
I’m alive, I will strive, I’m aiming for the best
This is my one assuring quest

Aligned in place, they changed and grew

A distinct frame to chomp and chew

To rip, to crush, to tear and bite

To process food, determined might

Forward canines made to tear

Bold incisors lessen wear

Solid molars help to crush

Day and night our teeth to brush

A solid set, with aim to grind

The sets of teeth we can but find

Milk teeth formed, of first event

The adult teeth grow permanent

Meat eaters are carnivores

Plant consumers’ herbivores

To brush is not inferior

To balance bad bacteria

Balanced diet, portioned fruit

Brighter teeth, a healthy root

A poorer choice of alcohol

With smoking yet will take its toll

For where leftover sugar lay

An acid forms for tooth decay

Improved choices – don’t delay

Brush and floss teeth twice a day

Beyond the destruction, a journey to the south

The bearing of a promised child

Unto Abraham and Sarah, within their latter stage

The joy of Isaac

An awesome wonder

Hagar and son, of company within the tent

In playful sight, both sons adjoined

A jubilant feast, with Ishmael unkind, merriment declined

The yearning of honour, attention be sought

An imminent request, send them away

Instructions of sorrow, Abraham obliged

Mother and son to voyage on

Seek the place where you belong

Replenishing supplies

A radiant sunrise, in the land of Egypt

Ye to wonder to the wilderness

Walking on empty, thirsty and faint

Wander no father

Suffering son

Weeping in solitude, fearful afraid

God heard the cry of pain

Draw to the spring, water arise

Be now filled, I shall provide

Your son shall live, grow and thrive

Strength shall arise, wait upon the Lord

Twas a stormy night

O’ tormented waves

Across the Sea of Galilee

Sweeping storms of surfaces spread

Tempestuous tempest, torrential rain

Of fear again, several sailors, fearful men

A gushing wave, to break the side

Visions of a sinking ship

Such stifled disciples

Their master still asleep

Lain down in tranquil rest

Such measures of a test

A cause to then arise, he opened up his eyes

They of little faith

Words spoken, of winds rendered still

Of tempest ceased, a calming storm

Such winds and waves obey him

To know the Son of man

Verse 1
It may take a little bit of passion, with a call to strive
Beyond a realm of satisfaction, aiming to arrive
A complex choice of moving forward, not left or right
Always keep the goal in sight
Of precious value locked inside
Standing in the face of pride
Always keep the dream alive

Chorus
You may not know the how, just recall the why
There may be obstacles, but it's your aim to try
Keep on aiming to the sky
You may have started small, encountering a fall
Just aim to go beyond, what seems impossible
You are truly wonderful

Verse 2
Of a journey that is not straight, that is challenging
Individual timing not late, you are so unique
A coming season to wait, in your soul to seek
A higher calling to complete
Of precious value locked inside
Standing in the face of pride
Always keep the dream alive

Chorus

Bridge
This is your moment, this is such a distinct time
Now is the time to own it, you're a gem refined
This is your moment, this is such a distinct time
Now is the time to own it, reach towards the sky

Let a new age commence, unrest shall now cease

King Henry VII, the bringer of peace

Merchants will travel, trade will now flourish

Descendants of which epitomise courage

A land of writers, a progress of arts

Embedded into the Tudor’s hearts

Embroidered gowns, heads and tales

The elegant wear of farthingales

A Tudor house, a college, a school

Established wealth of Tudor rule

Towns of old, constructed new

Merchants traded, places grew

Refined timber, a solid room

Within the attic, a weaving loom

Wattle and daub, between the frame

A home preserved, set to remain

Furnished halls and window glaze

Estates abound, knot garden maze

Food aplenty, peacock and swan

Iron skewers, with meat upon

Send a fleet, out to defend

A kingdom of which lives depend

Aboard with cannons, Mary Rose

We shall arch with longer bows

Parish churches of the ‘Reformation’

A coat of arms, our declaration

Henry VIII, the Supreme Head

The King’s schools, of which he lead

A ‘Globe’ performance, a Shakespeare show

Shall we stand where ‘groundlings’ go

A theatre set to entertain

Yet monasteries sit in poor remain

Upon thy hill, now let us mount

To thus reflect with fresh account

A prominent history of which to lend

Thy Queen Elizabeth I to end

Unique, engrafted into the vine

Caring father, that is mine

Renewed mind, advancing song

Beloved, beheld, made to belong

Becoming dawn, where shadows flee

Emitting peace so gracefully

Presence, purpose, soul awake

Beyond ourselves, a choice to take

Surrounding shield will fortify

You cleanse, restore and purify

Captured mind, enabled wise

A glorious eternal prize

Your strong hand is filled with might

Fill my thoughts with your insight

Begotten son had paid the price

No greater worthy sacrifice

Unique, engrafted into the vine

I am his and he is mine

Lord of lords, for you are my helper, there are blessings with changes anew

Faith enduring love is forever, triumph in my victory praise

Sovereign shield for you are the answer, blessed are my days

Strength behold, I shall not be moved

Lost no more, there’s nothing to prove

Unleashed and made new

I am yours forever your own

Guiding me I am not alone

King of high and this is your throne

Victory is breaking through, breaking through

Of enemies they have not the holding, one creator over the earth

Strength arise, ascending the mountain, recognizing all of my worth

Stumbling blocks shall quake in your presence, confidence forever surround

Inheritance, for it is my birthright, sacred gifts be found

Beyond my circumstance, power will defy

None can be compared, to you I give my cares

I come to you, ooh ooh ooh

Verse 1
Through adversity, we will conquer lands
Father of creation truly understands
Bold courageous, a shining countenance
With the breadth of true experience

Chorus
We will overcome, we will overcome
Through the midst and trials, we will overcome
Let our boldness, be unrestrained
For his mercies shall never be contained
We will overcome

Verse 2
True commander, he will calm the storm
Be unshakened, stand in one accord
His descendants, as numerous as dust
With capacity to inspire trust
Chorus

With such altitude, we will elevate
Of such power, of whom could calculate
In all earnest prayer, without ceasing
Casting freedom, with chains releasing
Truly called for such a time as this
Obtaining peace in his eternal bliss
Holy anointed, of such constancy
Of benevolence and true loyalty

One of the five senses, tell me what you hear

Picking up of sounds, directly from the ear

A great deal of listening, noises all around

Approaching from a distance, I can hear a sound

I can hear a siren, I hear a bouncing ball

I hear a loud football crash against the wall

I hear the sound of paper, torn so carefully

I hear a crunching apple bitten gracefully

Detecting sound waves, in the open air

They cannot be seen, but they are still there

Patterns of the sound waves, dogs are howling

High upon the tree branch, I hear a bird sing

A message through my ears, sent towards my brain

I know what I am hearing, the splattering of rain

Different types of animals, distinct shaped ears

Some can hear clearer when a noise appears

Even with my eyes closed, I can hear a squeak

I can hear the footsteps, yet without a peek

Looking inside you will find the eardrum

Noise creates vibration, louder than a hum

A louder sound brings a larger vibration

Good listening deemed for a quiet narration

Sounds high and low, near or far

There goes the sound of a very fast car

Since I was created for such a time as this

What on earth am I here for, before eternal bliss?

Let the weight of your calling, bring greatness out of me

The epitome of Christ, is what I care to be

With your divine purpose, evoked into your plan

Your perfect craftsmanship, made with your mighty hand

Spiritually lead me, with fresh waters anew

Let your holy spirit, guide me in what I do

In accordance with your blueprint, my purpose I will seek

My life is not my own, I am truly yours to keep

Before my birth you knew me, you knew my every path

The hairs upon our head Lord, I’ll let you do the math

Made into your image, the warmth of your embrace

Align me with your will Lord, let me win the race

Words cannot express the wonders of your love

That you would send your only son, from heaven above

The gifts you have bestowed me with and great ability

Open the eyes of my heart Lord that one day I shall see

Let me not take for granted of who you care to bless

Let me endure trials as you guide me through this test

Be my divine inspiration, knowledge not of man

Guide me to your truth so that I will understand

God has a sense of humour, he does like to remind

That even in the early hours, you are truly divine!

Verse 1
Whisperings in the dark, be my light and meet me where you are
You said be not afraid, I kneel before you, with casted burdens laid
In a dry and thirsty land, come unto you, be guided by your hand
With a parchment of the field, I find a well, the sources spring revealed

Chorus
When there’s nothing else, nothing else, to give you but myself
In place of apparent wealth, you are my foundation, you’re my light and my health
For you are my strength and you are my shield, without you, there’s no shining light in me
For you are my strength and you are my shield, without you, there’s no shining light in me

Verse 2
On you I shall depend, through the forceful trials, our father will defend
No greater sacrifice, you thought of me, you truly paid the price
On such a temporal plane, this journey through, yet all will pass away
Of times that have begun, you oversee, the victory is won

Chorus

Bridge
You are my crown of gold, there’s no greater fill, replenishing my soul
No other fills the void, no one can bestow, may my cup overflow

Chorus

Ending
When there’s nothing else, nothing else, to give you but myself
When there’s nothing else, nothing else, to give you but myself
