reading
and eating an apple
all alone without a mask

not quite the intended purpose
not on the surface at least
while I found no One to worship
still
I found myself at peace

what if
your wild roses are
the thorns in my heart

Cherry tree so beautiful
And bright they blossom
During the night and the
Cherry leaves fall like confetti
Over night on the old winter road tonight and
Their petals are so beautiful and
Bright and there blooming
So brightly tonight and the crisp Snowflakes twirl like
Two turtle doves
Dancing together in love under
The beautiful moonlight.

Sadness in my life
And my heart aches
For my beautiful wife and
The worst pain known to me
Every day in my life and
I want to cry tonight
But I no longer have any more
Tears to fall down on
My sad lonely face
I miss my wife every day and
In this sad lonely place
Just wishing for one more embrace to feel her gentle touch
But now your gone  
I wonder how long a broken heart will last because every day I'm  lost without you.
