We chased a feeling
not a reality

We both wanted someone
So desperately
that we found each other

Even though no part of
us
worked

Our pieces didn’t fit together
so we pressed and jammed them
until they were stuck
and stayed that way
Until
we broke

It is a heavy word
Especially when my lungs cough it out
or my ears collect its waves

A goodbye doesn't guarantee us that we will meet again
It guarantees us that it will bring a new hello and that's not what I want
A new hello won't be the same as yours

I'd rather say
Until I see you again

Pain said I will find strength in him.
It was a lie!
I searched...
             and SEARCHED...
                          AND SEARCHED.
All I found was tears
I thought they were of joy
but NAH...
They were of pain himself,
together with heartbreak

He made me go through the worst,
and he then said again, I don't have to search for strength but I have to earn it.
That's when I became strong and decided to face him

Am I to young for this?
The hate I see unveiled
It spreads like the sickness
Am I too young for this?
My body is weak and hurt
It begs for forgiveness
Are we to young for this?

I was caged with darkness
Anger was my only friend
My enemies were the ones who couldn't tolerate my friend

There was no good me
There was only the impatient, aggressive and troubled me.
I hated many with passion
and expected good things to come my way

I was lost

In my life's journey, I met others who, like me, had lost their way.
