Little p's
Cindy Long Sep 2015
if life was a sketch book I draw you ugly so you wouldn't be the perfect popular princess if life were a yearbook id scribble out your face and write the best profanities around the edges of your once neatly placed photo if life were a poem book Id white out your name in all the things that even remotely remind me of you put my name and qualities in it's pretty pathetic poemline if life were a glass of lemonade and you were the lemon and squeeze you to your dried little pulp you are not permanent you are no longer precocious you do not hold any purpose and you aren't the right prescription nor do you have the right to enjoy my present because your peppy ego and your high personification of yourself ****** me off because I'm here to push you to your petty limits so go away purge yourself with invisibility and puke until there is nothing left of your petite assets because when you're gone I wont have to look at you and wish I was you or have one ounce of  your prospering spirit. Because when you disappear I won't have to pretend that I don't love your elegance and all your precious preppy ways you phenomenal being please pretty pretty please with sugar plums on top give me peace

Fear of rejection
Cindy Long Sep 2015
keep your head
down don't look up
don't let him see
how much
you want him
close your eyes
don't give in
don't let him see how you
crave his touch
ignore his present
Hes just a man
forget his words
there just words
don't stop walking
let him pass by
don't let him see
how much
you need him
don't **** up
not one glance
Don't let him see how
cold you are without him
Catch your breath
remember
to him you're nothing
calm your heart
Slow its pace
he wouldn't take it even if
it was his for the taking
just run away
while you still can
don't let him see
how to you he's everything
head to the ground
don't let him see
how he makes
your mouth water
or hands shake
Or eyes flicker
or body ache
no you better not
it's safer here
In his shadows
At least when your invisible
you can pretend
he loves you too

Dandelion girl
Cindy Long Sep 2015
She's like a dandelion she sprouts and waits until the Sun shines on her then she blooms but as the day passes with the sun shining on her his warm rays turn into scorching dry heat and beat down on her luminous pedals transforming her beauty into sticks-fragile wands with white bitter wings on the end. She'll sit and wait in her pathetic sadness the Sun torturing her delicate limbs with slight breezes pulling and plucking her plumage away in hopes she realizes she was always just a ****
