Sea
I'll sway and I'll swim in the sea of your heart.
Then dive deep into that dark hidden part.
Where the treasures have gathered over the years.
Your passion and desire stored under your fears.
This sea held the terrors and struggles you faced in your days.
Then drowned them under piles of rough waves.
Keeping your world in the storm on the sea.
You protect your waters with ice bergs and the navy.
But I swayed with your current and came in with the tide.
Rested on your shore then took on your stride.
The sea in your heart cleansed my soul free.
I held my breath but your sea allowed me to breath.
Under the raging waters I saw the life that you hid.
It was beautiful and precious but to others you forbid.
Slowly the storms cleared and the sun began to shine.
I belonged in your sea and your sea was all mine.

sometimes
it doesn’t matter enough
sometimes
it matters but not enough to change it
sometimes
it matters but not enough to admit it
sometimes
it matters but it’s too difficult to change it
sometimes
pride and shame stand in the way
sometimes
fear stops change
sometimes
nothing is done and the paralysis of denial takes over
sometimes
the people you hurt forgive you and move on
sometimes
they want you to do the same

i am the door...
that you leave slightly ajar
in your comings and goings
in an effort to find out who you are

i am the wall...
feel free to stare at me blankly
or if you have greater need
you're more than welcome to climb me

i am the table...
for you to lay it all out
or if you prefer to wine and dine
in this riddle of doubt

i am the drawer...
you hold all your secrets in
your poetry and diary
of who you now are and who you have been

i am the bed...
your afraid to peek underneath
but still with enough comfort
to give you your much needed sleep

i am the window...
that opens into your soul
telling you what you want
and what you don't want to know

i am the floor...
where it all gets swept
into that lonely corner
with the rest of your mess

the girl who's wrists shoutout appreciation to her sleeves, never quite knows what to say when they fall down her arms.

but.

but.

but.

just tell me you're not just a little bit proud to wear your scars like badges displayed on the surface of your skin.

If I'm a prisoner of love
Then please feel free
To lock me up & throw away the key.

But what's obvious
To those with eyes to see,
Is that love was the one to set me free

"No more money, no more fancy dress, this other kingdom seems by far the best, until it's other jaw reveals ******, and loose obedience to a vegetable law... I will not go... I prefer a feast of friends to the giant family...!" - I may have some of this wrong, but I know I'm pretty **** close - All done by memory...
