Faith competes with visible things
Giving us an extra eye and wings
To see beyond the fog of thought
To fly above the hills of night
It is not security that it offers
But a colt of courage that inspires
When times are dismal laced with woe
And the inner light can barely glow
When the road is chaotic with emotions
And escape sparks toxic notions
Faith shall knock on the door
Volunteering to furbish heart's decor
Throughout history's pages
Faith has been a talisman for ages.

I saw an Angel in my dream.
She said she would fulfill any wish I have.
"Should I make you the best ?"she asked.
"No,"said I.
"Just a little better than yesterday.
That will do."
Dear cancer, I am far from amused by your sorry excuse for invading me,
my body
YOU DO NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION
I don’t like the abuse
Being used
Just some poor excuse
Your pity thrown on me like some kind of cheap blanket or soiled towel
Then discarded and forgotten
I’m left feeling kind of rotten and alone like an orphan with out a home his parents disowned
This is how cancer feels
Like a horrible, no good very bad day that you don’t know how you’re ever gonna make it go away
So you sit and you pray, sit and you pray, sit and you pray
Hoping to God, he is hearing what you have to say
And he’ll take it all  away
So I can live to see another day
Wish upon another star
If you haven’t figured it out yet cancer *****
I do not like it
I hate it
Hate it with a passion
It does not have my permission to stay inside of my body, eat away at My organs, or tear down my soul
I will not give in to cancer
Cancer will not control
Cancer is a hard strenuous and very expensive disease to live with, I have had to cut back on work since my diagnosis and I’m struggling a bit financially to stay afloat. Like a stream that meanders
Cantering music sweet
Caprice treads whimsical
Lightly on her feet.

Like the wind that doesn't know
Where to gently breeze
Caprice breathes here, then there
... the air touched 'n teased.

Like the midnight stars that twinkle
Through the darkness peer
Caprice in a wink
Appears to disappear.

Like the morning sunlight
That hides, then lights up hills
Caprice scampers up and down
Never a moment still.

Like waves and ocean tides
That ebb, rise and flow
Caprice heaves night and day..
Between her joys and woes.

Like raindrops and the rainbow
That hold the other's hand
Caprice sighs and smiles
In but a single glance.

I wonder... if you sense her
Her murmurs, feel her warm breath
Caprice... right behind you —
Though you haven't seen her yet.
It’s Sunday morning
Folks are out
Going to and fro
Shopping
Having breakfast
Drinking coffee

It’s Sunday morning
Folks are out
Running errands
Being with friends
Drinking coffee
People watching

It’s Sunday morning
Streets are busy
With people walking
To and fro
Meeting friends
Reading newspapers

It’s Sunday morning
In the city
Time to be mellow
Contemplate
The coming week

Late October,
and they have assuredly returned.

A canopy of clusters.

At second glance
the leaves on the trees are wings.

Whisper into the dreamscape
for they sense your voice.

Revive them with your breath.

Hold out your hand
like you hold out hope.

The warm sound of flutterings.

Circadian clocks in their antennae,
a sense of where they've been
and where they are going.

The gift from their Creator
moves them in the right direction.
