Make for me the day
That I'd remember you,
I will tread on the Earth you love.
I'll blame no cloud nor season.
I will be staring at the leaning grasses
Of the Archipelago. I will be calm.

Make me not turn to you,
If you are to approach me
From behind, surprisingly,
Locking your tiny hands on my eyes,
Asking me of who you are,
Because in that moment,
That moment only,
Will I truly dream.
And seeing you
Might make me want to kiss you.

Do it so, stealthily, then
Walk away from me. Run. Leave me.
Send off your goodbye, as though
It was your loving touch
That I may live on
Like an ill-fated Sun,
Missing, always missing,
Its cold half,

As I untiringly wander,
Wonder, remember,
Answer
Why my feet
Can't be across from yours.*

I walk through the forest
Peaceful and serene
Walking on ****** soil
Never touched or seen

Sunlight shines through the tall trees
Shadows fly by in between the breeze
I hear the hum of a flowing stream
What a wonderful sound, it must be a dream

I hear a bird singing, a beautiful melody
He’s nowhere in sight for me to see
I see the squirrel scurrying up the tree
I see him, he doesn’t see me

Signs of other life
Hoof-marks in the ground
My senses are heightened
To any smell, sight or sound

What a lovely place
Sheltered away from society
I pray it will stay this way
Please Lord, let it be

hearing feet pound the cement sidewalk,
seeing cars and drivers pass by talk-
ing on cell phones, silhouettes, shaped
by street lights lit as darkness drapes,
at the feet below these aging knees
the shadow moves ahead and is chased
down, falls behind as the body and face-
less shape with feet that slap the ground
not as a delicate dancer, because they pound

the run into submission,
at times the breath would better,
if it were louder, and with a rasp

then it would be easy to grasp
why this impossible implausible delight
seems so pure, in the dark and in the night,

I invite one, I invite all, drop by
any night and we see our foot falls
and hear who steps could crack
where they land and whose breathing
would be better if banned,
for disturbing the peace

legs with muscle straining from the training,
not getting the enough rest to prepare for the raining
and the run, the stuff that tests, a rare human quality,
can you finish what you start,
arteries clear and how is the heart,
do you know pace, do you know no quit
can you find peace, can you give a squirt

of water in your mouth without out choking and having to stop,

do you know the joy that a child knows as they run
can you find that place where activity was and is fun
hard sidewalks, hard life lessons to learn
heavy steps, heavy heart, hear the sorrow
shadows, follow the mind multiplies and borrows fear from the shelf
breathing in, hoping to be at ease,
breathing out, hoping to release

All
The

Tension
Handily
Exacting

Every
Nerve
Damaged

Come to me, my Love,
dressed in nothing but
yourself. I just want to
see you smile and in good
health. All I want is to hold
you through the night with
tenderness and care. All i want
is to caress your flesh and run
my fingers through the curls
of your beautiful hair. All I crave
for is waking up with the taste of
your tongue and cigarettes inside
of my mouth. Now come to me
darling dressed in nothing but
yourself* ~

Believe in your dreams
Believe what can come
Live for your life
But don't live alone
For every woman a man is out there
For every man a woman who cares
Open wide your heart,  open your mind
That person is out there, that person you'll find
Spend not your life in sad misery
Just reach out and grasp the dream that you see
They only come once. The one you desire
So grasp it and treat it as you would a flower

She looks up at me from the
Stroller, eyes wide open as
If she's never seen a shaved
Head before.
I'm guessing it's the head.

The tram is packed full of people,
And my country boy soul cringes
At the touch and smell of a
Hundred strangers.
So I focus on the little angel princess
Strapped gently to her

Throne on wheels, and in the
Vast space that our eyes meeting
Creates, I breathe pure, fresh air.
The tram is a hall we have to
Ourselves, and I'd trek to
The end of the universe

To find the last piece of candy
In existence, just to return,
Travel worn and outer space
Accustomed, just to place it
In her tiny hands
In gratitude.

Today I've decided to work
Harder than I ever have.

First day of work
In the rest of my working life.

This good old job
Deserves as much.
