Needless to say the least

Lessons suggest
Freedom’s omnipresent
But my body’s on lease

Threaded dreams

Seamless society

Is this it?

I weave a basket

To carry your sun bleached bones
Thru the valley of plastic

We were born as actors took the stage
I was only a heartbeat and hands
You were more than skin
We saw the jackals in the night
Gun headed children with powder fingers
A man on the hill shouting "death to the despots"
Falling bombs that feed no flowers
The turtle crawls slow
His jaw hangs open
We were born beneath the man made cloud
I was a dreamer caught in nightmare
You couldn't fall asleep
We saw the edge of a black hole together
Blood hungry for Armageddon
A man in a suit saying "follow me to war"
Metal raptors and steel claws
The birds fly south forever
And winter never ends

Everybody's lacking confidence
Everybody's just a slave to the banking's dominance
Everybody's backing arguments
Everybody's in a maze of ever-ranking documents
Everybody's wanting paradise
Everybody's facing hate and then responding scared of life
Everybody's falling, paralyzed
Everybody's hesitating when they see a haunting pair of eyes
They're always drinking on the victim's blood
Their rain's got me thinking that existence rusts
We should be shouting that "the system's ******!"
Now, stop the doubting, let resistance flood...
Everybody's seeming blinded
Everybody's blighted, everybody's teaching me a virus
Everybody's seeking eyelids
'cause when it comes to really being
They ain't seeing through their iris
Everybody's mind is stuck in the end
Everybody's lied, and then were judging a friend
Everybody's cried and then said "**** it, I'm dead"
Everybody's died, I bet they're loving the dread
Everybody's heard the story
Everybody's missing when they're on the search of Dory
Everybody's sure they're sorry
Everybody's wishing they could find the worth of glory
Everybody's been through hardship
We peer through the glass of a see-through market
Lately I'm thinking that I've been too modest
'cause they want me in a cage, so I speak zoo knowledge
Ha - who's calling me? 2Pac and B.I.G, 'cause we're dying to live
Who's calling me? 2Pac and B.I.G., 'cause we're dying to live
I'm just trying to give back, that line is a zig zag
I want some food for thought but all I find is a big mac
Deep in your head's where they mine with a pickaxe
Claiming we have freedom but they silence the chit chat
I'm simply thinking we should bridge the cut
Instead of always sinkin 'cause the distance was
Shorter than we thought to keep persistence up
So join me when I say that the systems ******

Shoved and crammed into a worm box
As he smuggle stood on top
"***** I'm burying you alive"
"No one will hear your cries"
The worms wiggled around behind my back
I struggled there in the pitch black
The smell of freash earth was so overpowering
And on top he just stood there towering
I clawed at the lid
Of that old frig
But he was to heavy it did not give
My oxygen was soon depleted
I knew then I was defeated
Buried alive in a worm box
Who would of ever thought

As you can see I survived that day
But when at last on a cold slab I lay
And when they put that tag on my toe
It's off to the crematorium I go
Because being buried once is quite enough
I really am not all that tough

do not let me
hurry
this life
a world
filled
with
pain and strife
death and taxes
ride
upon
a sweet chariot
where
only
the
strong survives
then
let me
walk to my grave
and
be left alone

I've used up the speed I used to need
Running hard at walls
All I got was blood and snot
And a boot in the *****
But it's not over
Nothing's done
Oh no
The fight goes on

I've had knock backs from throwbacks
And been ridiculed by imbeciles
Half wits have had their say too
But I will never give in
The fight goes on
On and on
Until I change their minds

I'm a self-centred beauty, an angel of grotesque
in leather and chains I love to dress
my sultry is not just mine but yours to keep
in the land of the whimsical there's no need to breathe, or even sleep

I caress broken bones with a forked tongue
trying to find the right within all the wrong
I'm amazing, my persona blindingly slick
spreading love from a mind worthless and sick

sweet abortion in my eyes
falling in love with everything I ever despised

addicted to the sins I strived to appease
my former self lingers like a disease
the sun dawns and I wonder what I've become
gazing at the cigarette in my hand, it's apparent I'm on the run

from a pain that burns just like the smoke
stale and acrid I cough and choke
but the dizziness distracts from the memories I find
helping leave what happened behind.

Broken tears
The hope of war
Hard hearts beating
The burning bed
Maybe hands and heads see eyes
And devils magic
mad love can never be happy
Little fallen moon
The deeper ocean
Children and monsters
The red star
Maybe hopes and dreams see faces
And dancing moments
Still
Mad love can never be happy
A hiding hell
The new cold fire
Imagined angels
To bring you death
Maybe love can't bring you joy
Its just illogical longing
Mad love can never be happy

In this lucid world,
In this so called haven we assume,
Life throws in lots of challenges,
Some fair, some that seem so absurd,

We get carried away in this worldly fame,
Where only evil resides,
Souls that **** a millionth piece inside you,
And people so cunning that cut out your heart from inside you,

Scraped and withered from the edges,
Old and scarred from the surface,
Blood flows stale,
So painful that it hurts.

Welcome to the city of Morphine where it rains acid and you feel no pain
A city where everyone is numb to the world
Where people dwell in the slums of misery
shattered lives and shattered glass cover the streets of Morphine
Fiends wander down the alleys of agony.
