It is the last of the night
and the first light of the day
brings wake-up time
to the birds in the bushes;
their songs,
tentative at first
the notes quiet and seeking
take form,
one with the other,
questing and melding,
point and counterpoint
till the moment,
when strong in will
and together in purpose,
the chorus swells
the light brightens
and together they bring
the dawn to a full day

I bring all that I have
I bring all that I am
I bring all that I hoped that I'd ever be

And I place it
On the alter
At your feet

I give all that I can
I give all that I own
I give all that I hoped that I'd ever have

And I give you
All my worries
My hopes and despairs

Because all that I am is yours!
All that I have is yours!
All that I am is yours
Forever I will be yours!

I love my little garden Lord
Which you have given me
I thank you for this heaven
Where I can feel so free

I pray each night to give me strength
To sow more wondrous seeds
And for you to bless the birds
Who fly right in to feed

I bless you for my sight and smell
To enjoy the flowers so
And all the bees and butterflies
Who gently come and go

So bless my little garden Lord
It gives me peace and joy
For I have prayed each night to you
Since I was just a boy

I wasn't sure
to take it as a sign
or quiet gift in Spring
But the rose had fully bloomed
Open orange petals with a hint of blush
This Easter morning
alone upon its bush
"Love her and watch her blossom"
The time for that love is gone, but I hope you continue to see me blossom

smudged into the soil
rooted amongst the oaks
Your life echoes through their depths
shines through linden arms
resounds within silent windows
through which You illuminate my spirit
sylvan winds sway my mind
one day isolated, only to see
reminders that You are here
and the crescent You carved
and fixed in night's sleep;
she glows over fragile souls
evening is peppered with freckled light
soft gleams of vanilla
still lies night's heart
black sheets washed in the crumbs
of a celestial banquet
You hold this world in love
and touch the hills with dawn's shining face
wiping away fear
pooling our tears
and watering the earth
I'm being reminded that Father God and the Holy Spirit are always with us.We as believers sometimes struggle with the feeling of isolation from Him but the truth is that He is always with us and loves everyone so much. <3

Having my coffee on the porch
Just basking in the morning light
A peaceful time until my eyes
Were drawn above by light so bright

Thousands of previous mornings
Never once took my breath away
As I gazed up in amazement
On this illuminated day

I saw the vision of my soul
A breath, a glimpse as pure as gold
The light illuminates my mind
In God's tender love I enfold

I closed my eyes to better see
My heart was open, lips are sealed
Right to an inner higher place
Where new perspectives are revealed

In the innermost part of my being
I prayed to let go of any resistance
And I felt such peace washing over me
As I recognized love behind all existence
This happened once, along with reading a Daily Word page that I was holding  entitled 'Illumination' with the passage about "The tender mercy of our God shall break from the dawn on high"-it woke me up on my faltering spiritual journey.

There's a song
That we all know
In pounding rain
And whispering snow
I love to sing it as I go

The Creator sings
The Creator sings
The Creator sings

Over Creation

O how I love to hear this song!
O how I love to sing along!
In faith I know the angel's throng

The Creator sings
Over Creation

From His first Word
Thus Time began
The stars burst light
And atoms spin
He gave birds wing
And fish their fin

The Creator sings
The Creator sings
The Creator sings

Over Creation

Chorus

There's a lilac cloud
Over the sea
A lightning strike
O'r my ship's lee
A wind from port
So wildly free

The Creator sings
The Creator sings
The Creator sings

Over Creation

Chorus

How can it be
That God so dear
Whose voice is strong
Whose message clear

HOW CAN IT BE THE LOST CAN'T HEAR?

The Creator sings
The Creator sings
The Creator sings

OVER CREATION

Eternity,
Looking at a thread of Time,
Examined Earth,
Considered its conception,
Traced its trajectory,
Ignored the dire prognosis,
Opened its Heart to send
New Life through a ******.
Winter moon.
Above snow-covered trees.
A glowing sickle.
In the cold dark sky.
Lighting up the frozen black.
Of this New Year's night.
The Winter moon shining bright.
Casts a warm glow
upon the snow tonight.
Forget the freezing, icy road.
For just a moment.
And lift up your head.
Fix your gaze.
Upon the Winter moon.
Which God has made.
Blizzard.
Cold.
The snow blows down.
Softly...but fiercely...
to the ground.
White.
White.
Winter white.
The snow-coloured rabbits
are white-washed from sight.
And Christmas is in my heart tonight.
As I learn the way to life and joy.
Thought gratitude and humility.
As I linger by the manger,
and look upon my Saviour.
Who gave up all.
To save us from the Fall.

Blizzard.
Cold.
The snow blows down.
But in my heart a fire glows.
As I begin to know...
To truly know...
The Light of the world.
Shining down.
Shining bright.
Upon the Winter snow tonight.
Chasing my fears.
Away from sight.
Shining bright.
My heart's delight.
Upon Winter white.
