Sirenes
The stepcounter is passed 20km
My joints hurt and my muscles cramp
I'm sweating like a pig
My hands tremble from the effort
The list is still long
There's no massage in the world
That could ever fix this
My back jams and I'm only 26

The girls say you lose
5kg in the first days
I cannot disagree
As my clothes don't feel the same
On my day off I sit completely still.
Letting my muscles get cold
Would cause an agonising cramp
From neck to wrist

The sheets need changing again
Two beds of 20kg per room
If only each member
Of the Canadian rowing team
Hadn't ****** off in them
The biggest hick-up is
That I have to seperate
The sheets from the tissues

And then there are the blokes
Who just won't sit down to ***
Or flush the toilet
I'll give you three guesses
Where these hands have been today
Don't even get me started on
Tampons and **** pads
***** hairs in the tub
And dried up food
In the hotel's black teacup

A euro for your effort...
Which I'd happily spend
Shoving up your... :)
Killing the maid fantasy :) :) :)

Upon a sunrise serenade
She sings within my heart
A distance stands between us
I stare into the dark

My eyes now cast the north
Horizon’s beckoned creed
Of lonely days I wander
To reach my every need

An echo on the morning
My words on clouds above
In harmony her singing
A sonnet of my love

When this melodic morning
My weary eyes can see
My life it shall be nothing
*Till she is here with me
Good morning Beautiful

Her voice when she whispers
Brings me back to childhood
Christmases, when shaking a
Present revealed the gut-tingling
Sound of LEGO inside.

Blue canvas
Smudged with
Patterned clouds
Streaks of light
Kisses the edges
Golden hues
Seen through
Swaying trees
Nature’s brush
Still at work
Perfecting the artwork
Evokes the beauty
Enduring masterpiece
Flights of fancy
Fly towards beauty
Millions of spectators
Stupefied by brilliance

A twilight summer afternoon
Along a sleepy shore
The sunset paints the evening sky
In colours we adore

A breeze so cool flows through your hair
The beach soft on our skin
We wait the tide so soon to come
As nighttime does begin

Nestled in your arms so close
Feel your warmth against the chill
Pewter skies are calling and
The air now resting still

The first star to appear this eve
Flickers ever slight
I have my wish my darling
*First star is yours tonight
A collaboration with my amazing girlfriend.

Clouds all a’ scatter, the greyest of views
Drizzle does tickle the ground
Willows are weeping amidst early gloom
Solemn this place to be found

Chipmunks now scurry to hide in their den
Songbirds stay silent away
Butterfly tear drops now longing to end
Till you awaken this day

Then the horizon a whispering sight
Ribbons of cellophane gold
Trinkets of beams form an early delight
Frowns soon to be put on hold

Outside my window now beckoning me
And in my heart so divine
Shimmering happiness, beauty I see
*You are my morning sunshine

Happiness can be
As simple as a smile
A picture perfect sunrise
A long and winding mile

Certain words of kindness
A touch upon the skin
Doors held open joyfully
Inviting to come in

A sparrow on the feeder
A bee upon a rose
The laughter of a child’s voice
Contagious as it grows

Moonbeams on the ocean
Sunlight on the lake
Walking with the one you love
All the time you take

Dancing to the music
Voices heard to sing
Midnight Friday rendezvous’
Are such a lovely thing

Chipmunks on the pathway
Brand new budding leaves
Tiger lilies greet the day
The fresh air that we breathe

A quiet bench for sitting
Nature’s perfect song
Peaceful silent solitude
Whispered all day long

Every bit of tenderness
Your love brings to me
Anytime that I’m with you
Happiness can be

What day is it when your granddaughter comes to you
and say the sweet words 'I love you' for the first time
I can tell you exactly what day it is
it is a time for rejoicing
in spirit
about health
love
and family
budgie soft feathered
yellow green plume
when with him together
goes fog of gloom.

dance he prances joyous
with enchanting grace
when his feathers brush
it's only happiness.

his sweetly gaily spin
crazy acrobats
sparks a light within
moves hands in claps.

on fingers loves to roost
his nails softly *****
gives my spirit boost
cloud disperses quick.

snuggles up to me
heart he easy wins
my dolly jolly budgie
I fondly call him Prince.

(: no... its not 10w Tuesday, but Sunday seemed so much more appropriate for this :)
Blue sky collides
With the blue sea
Sun beating down
On the crashing waves

Footprints in the sand
Left by all the lovers
Hand in hand they walked
Sea lapping at their feet

Children building castles
Rocks hear their laughter
For today is so beautiful

Upon a stem of velvet green
Sits the cherished Rose Bud Queen
Petals soft and pink in tone
A beauty born of nature’s throne

Majestic scents now fill the breeze
Neath satin clouds and maple trees
Her loyal subjects stand to cheer
In perfect blooms when she is near

Hummingbirds and butterflies
Decorate her crown jewel skies
In colors of a rainbow’s smile
So picturesque this garden style

As springtime brings its grand debut
Her kingdom is the finest view
So come enjoy this royal scene
