Silence nourishes the soul.
Quiet moments bring peace.
Harmony within.

A Selfless act of kindness.
Unseen by human eyes,
but known by God above,
blessed.

Oh Vincent
whatever did you do
ripening fields of summer corn
and sunflowers of a brilliant hue
a shade no other eyes could see
except for God and you
Trying ekphrastic poetry

Press your ear against the bowl
can you hear it ringing
I think the earth is singing

Winter longer
Than any other season.
Crisp blue skies.
Wet days
To give way
To spring.
******* the old.
Who fear to never
See the promise.
Fertilize with patience.
Ready the field.
For green is waiting.
When you're cloaked in a pall of gloom
Life seems bland with colours gone
The little flower in her humble bloom
Will say she's there you aren't alone.
The flower won't ever let you feel alone.

Born and die we are,
No one is superior or inferior.
Equal in the end.

Rebecca
Seemed like a future
Fitted to a time
Which seemed real.
The moon full
Shining
With a promise
Remembered.
Was a dream once known
But now the truth
Wrapped comfortably
Around with friendly
Familiarity.

Heart touching musical score.
Entranced audience in tears.
God crying in their souls.

we are,
mere obstacles in the path
of the light's warm glow.
Shining in darkness.

A forgotten flower,
once adored, now left to wilt,
lonely and unseen.
