soft spokenly
a token of gratitude
to thee
what seems as imperfection
is great perfection
to me
never change
never want to be
some one else's arrange

Jellyfish
I never want to stop talking to you,
You make my skies a little more blue.
I can feel my heart stop when you cry,
Which lets me know inside that I'm alive.

So tell me dear, am I everything you want?
I know that everyone has their faults..
But have you decided to look beyond mine?
Can you see the love shielded behind my eyes?

I hope you somehow can.
I admire you from this land.
And I can't begin to decipher-
My feelings for you.

So just shut up and say you love me too.
I woke to his hot hands
resting on my stomach,
Just above the scars on my hips.
He looked down at me,
His eyes tracing my scars,
Sadness deep in his eyes.
You were crying in your sleep,
he explained.
His big tee shirt was pushed up slightly,
and he gently tugged it down, covering my belly.
*I wanted to comfort you.
As if this would happen.
It might be nice not to wake up alone after all my **** nightmares.

Is this what It is
Sitting at a table
Surrounded but ignored
Teeth falling
Memory fading
Skin hanging
Friends dead and dying
Is this what it is
Generations erupting and then receding
Ages coming and going
Is this what it is
To live
To die
Why did we choose life
Why do we believe in death
Threads are woven,
like streams into a river;
or wisps into a cloud --
they weave into something beautiful.
Memories laced in violet,
peacock colored romance,
a tear doused in sky blue:
it is the tapestry of a mind
one withering and eroding
like the base of a mighty waterfall;
or the land under a tornado --
it despairs into emptiness
until my name is nothing but
conjoined syllables on her lips.
The unraveling of a tapestry is slow,
a simple snag in the seam.
Over time it falls apart
like a river scattering into the swamps;
or leaves in the four winds --
it lets gravity weigh it down.
We are told that love holds things together
but as she slips away
my weapon is nothing but an empty hand.
Time took something precious from her
without flinching; without a first glance,
leaving no evidence in her mind
but a river of blood in ours
and an eerie reminder
that time is as unforgiving
as the gravity that tore that first thread.
She unravels before my eyes
and time has me by the throat,
the best I can do is follow behind her
and pick up the pieces as she marches
unknowing and unbending.
O’ woman….
Such an enchantress be you;
In your smiles,
You live warm!
You live charmed…
You enliven the aura of the Heaven!

O’ woman…
In your hands,
You hold the scepter; you rule!
You make and feed
You care your fawn,
You tend pain
And you pleasure thy lord!

O’ woman…
Your eyes, as mischief sparkles;
So does many dreams; Glitter!
Wake up…
Make them all true!
Go reach out the stars…
Give them some of your twinkle!

O’ woman…
In your being,
You paint a galaxy
Alive as if it were Lord’s scheme alone!

O’ woman
Heed yourself
Shed not those tears…
They be a waste
Don’t stain your pretty face…
Walk, trudge and explore
That pace of life..
In your mere presence;
You make
Everyone’s living possible!

O’ woman,
You be the gem…
Shining bright and true!
Preach your worth;
Priceless in measure!
This is dedicated to my office colleague... who is battling difficulties in her personal life.. May she find her peace soon! :)

John Keats
Hither hither, love---
      'Tis a shady mead---
Hither, hither, love!
      Let us feed and feed!

Hither, hither, sweet---
      'Tis a cowslip bed---
Hither, hither, sweet!
      'Tis with dew bespread!

Hither, hither, dear
      By the breath of life,
Hither, hither, dear!---
      Be the summer's wife!

Though one moment's pleasure
      In one moment flies---
Though the passion's treasure
      In one moment dies;---

Yet it has not passed---
      Think how near, how near!---
And while it doth last,
      Think how dear, how dear!

Hither, hither, hither
      Love its boon has sent---
If I die and wither
      I shall die content!
